About armor protection

Dear,

Champion armor piece set for mage (is not focus on mage) has a protection at 250.
Armor piece set at lvl 60 bought from diamond box is at 230.

So does NGD will increase base armor piece get from diamond box ?

If not why keep/buy diamond box ?

Because if you are "lucky", you will get:

1.- Hat 230+12, Protection +7%, Maná +175, Intelligence +7, Rehenerate Heal +7%
2.- Tunic 230+12, Protection +7%, HP +175, Constitution +7, Movemen Speed +6%
3.- Gloves 230+12, Maná +175, Cast Speed +7%, Resis Physical Damage +3%, Regenerate Maná +7%
4.- Bracelet 230+12, Maná +175, Resist Physical Damage +3%, Resist Piercing Damage +3%, Class Attribute +6%
5.- Staff with Cast Speed +7%, HP +175, Intelligence +7, Class Attribute +6%

Looks impossible? Perhaps, but it is all about "Luck". And believe me, I would gladly have any of these above rather than any Champion gear :d

Just a note: that champion armor has all resistances normal. Thus you will get hit for more damage from archers than with boxed armor with very good resistances to piercing and slash.
