Blocking

Anyone know what stat, if any, increases blocking chance? Also I'm kinda confused on whether dexterity or concentration or both increases to hit and critical chances, I really wish someone would come out with something concrete on the subject, as there's quite a few contradictory statements floating around the forums as well as in-game.

Dexterity is evasion chance. I think it is just your ability to evade physical attacks. Not sure about spell impact chances. Also, dexterity is the main attribute that effects marksmen damage. The more dex. your archer has the more damage you will do.

Concentration is spell success, hit chance, and critical hit chance

Intelligence is your ability to regain mana. I.E. the more intell. you have the faster your mana will regen.

Constitution is your ability to resist knockdown and maximium health.

I know many people will argue that dexterity is hit chance, but that was the beta days, and it is concentration these days.

Ok, thanks for the clear info on the stats. But does any of them increase block chance?

no

only shields increase blocking chances.
Well there are 2 spells that give you blocking too:
- PRotector (knight)
- Protection dome (mage)

When armor was still golden and shiny and knights simply awsome

btw, Precise Block is not at passive spell ;)
it adds +25% to blocking so it only applies with a shield equipped as i wrote in first place

i should write Passive block skill AND precise block there ;)
