Clan Question

I have a question about clan and the founder quitting. If the founder deletes the character, then does the clan disband? If not, then how to get back founder options? Do we have to re-form?

You'll have to reform, I'm afraid. Suggestions for transferment of clan leadership has been suggested many times before though.

hehe Angel, Yeah unfortunately we had it happen to us. We were just wondering why the clan wasn't disbanded or if were just glitched or something :( We will probably just re-form within the next week or so..

And have you checked the clan list to see if the leaders character is still there :). If not you should probably do so, but a good idea, just for good "moral and loyalty" try to get his email and write to him asking what has happened

Yeah I checked the clan list, thats when I realized he was gone and yes I've already emailed and texted, just waiting for a reply.

deleted chars dont disappear from the clanlist either, so it could be that the clan keeps existing even if the leader char has been deleted

I found out that his character was deleted by looking at the clanlist, then I deleted his character from my f list and tried to readd. User wasn't found, so that tells me he was indeed deleted :ohill:

I should probably be posting this in technical support but too lazy to make a new thread sooo here goes:

I finally reformed the clan. I set the ranks etc. Everyone's rank was fine except mine. It kept showing me as a "recruit" even though I had my rank set at something else. Today I get on and everyones ranks is missing now. It just shows, clan name. I've rechecked in the admin section and everyone still has their ranks but they aren't showing up? Any ideas?

Clan ranks are bugged again. The ranks are jumping around and there isn't much you can do about it. But the members will have the priviliges that come with the original rank you give them (i.e. recruiting, expelling power), so no real harm there.

AH, great. Thanks Amade. Guess its just a waiting out game now? I thought maybe it was something to do with me using the same clan name as before the reform. I couldn't create the clan under the clan name we was using, I had to create the clan under a different name then change it afterwards. Guess not.. hehe
