This Thread is not to discuss drowning, only to gather pics from Players doing it.

Here I start the Gallery of Drowning with a nice pic of Randol, feel free to at more.

I see two choices here:

First, you can run into the sea and drown. This will result in 100% chance of death, necro penalty, looking like a coward to those around, and the enemy laughs at you. If the enemy damages you first, they will get RP.

Second, you can use your two minutes ress dizzy and try to escape. Two minutes can get you a long way. Run through cyclopses or other aggro monsters so the enemy will take damage. If you find friends in that two minutes, maybe you'll be able to kill the enemy. If you don't find friends, you fight. If the aggro monsters did some damage, maybe you'll be able to take someone with you. Worst case scenario, you die. But your die bravely, and without necro.

I've only run into the water and killed myself twice. The first time, I was new to the warzone, and was following the lead of someone else. Afterward, I thought, "That was stupid." The second time was an accident. I was being chased in an unfamiliar area, and accidentally ran off a cliff. However it turned out to be worth it in that case, since one of the pursuers also ran off the cliff after me and drowned right beside me.

The third choice is, to log out again and try later, which is no problem and don't end the res-dizzyness and in my opinion it isn't dishonorable if you log in in an enemy group.
But to log in and drown yourself for, I don't know how much, % necro is stupid :p

Oh god. Necro is nothing. There is no real penalty for dying. Only giving rps can be a "dishonour!". I was always hiding in the water to avoid being killed afk, and few times I killed myself accidentally :p Then again logging out when I see a bunch of enemies is quite easy. Click click.

Then, he suddenly hits the board, sending all the pieces flying, and runs out of the room laughing. That's because he believes that it is dishonorable to let his opponent win.

Would you consider that honorable? Or would you consider it childish? Would you play chess with him again? Well that's the same thing as logging out just before someone kills you, which I consider to be childish, cheap, and the sign of a sore loser.

I would never drown when enemies show up in stronger numbers.
You can either try to get away or try to kill the weakest of them.
But both is mostly in vain.

I hate drowners myself but i can understand the reaction when you face 4+ lvl50 as a lvl35.
Its a lame reaction on a lame action =)

I log in, I have rezz and I see 10 ignis dudes "impossible" for me. I'd rather log out :)

and regnum isn't chess :)

I'd rather have people who logged in with res-dizzy log out rather than have them lead me and my mates on a merry chase that usually ends up the hunted leading us into a trap.

Better yet, I rather have login res dizzy taken off the game.
