Lost Points

Two days ago i was levelling and i crashed.

When i relogged my char was in a different location (one i was at earlier), and my xp bar was shorter.

It seems that i had been transported back in time and all the xp i gained between that point in time and the crash was lost.

Yesterday the same thing happened twice whilst hunting with my arch: i crashed, and relogged into an earlier location (no doubt losing the RP i gained in the meantime).

Other people have mentioned similar incidents.

I don't suppose the points will ever be returned to us??

One of my clan mambers lost 60k XP cause of this, another lost 30k.
What do we think about it ? We think that NGD maybe increased the time between when info get saved to the database, to decrease the loads on the servers.

In this case, we just gotta live with this I guess, even if it's horrible.

all together i think if u add all the times it has happened to me ; i probalbly lost a whole lvl

butt there is nothing me crying about it will fix , so i just continue on lvl'n

I killed several enemy today and yesterday and got no RP for it either. I also noticed that when someone is logging out now, even if you dmg them to 1%, you get no rp for it when they log out(saw that yesterday several times).

NOTE: If you (whoever you may be) are about to post (again) that you don't think RP is important, i don't care.

Well, yeah, but you need roughtly 45-60 minutes to make 60k without a scroll, it's weird that in all that time the db was not updated (i used to crash a lot, but never lost an xp point, lucky me :biggrin: )

maybe u just never noticed it because it was never much

at first i never noticed either till a clan mate( znurre) pointed it out to me
now i check when the server starts acting up real bad because i know there might be a rollback comin
