Bow's Drop!?!?

Hi all, pls anyone known where i can drop the best of the game lvl 46/50 Long Bow with 30 range/medium speed ??^^ (im Syrtis)

drops are completly dynamic

that means you dont get specific drops from certain monsters.
But of course your level and monster level are taken into account when the drops are calculated (monster level more than your level)

From my personal experience :


Easy or less challenging = worn stuff
normal = common stuff, with a level near yours, sometimes enhanced
challenging = enhanced stuff at a level near yours
hard/very hard = great/master stuff


It's a matter of patience :)

A lvl 50 dragonswing bow is better than many xymerald elven bows anyway, so i wouldnt worry about it too much if i was you.

I discovered this the other day when tui lent me his, and i noticed the DW bow was better when comparing the equipped stats. You would need an elven composite xym LB(great) or better to exceed the power of a storebought dragonswing i think. The odds of getting one of those are extremely slim.

Yes, I've noticed that drops are rather random. You usually get something a little below your level, but sometimes I find things which have stat buffs etc. which you can't buy. I'm going to have to try and see whether hard mobs drop better stuff, but I find that a lot of time, unless you're really lucky, its just better to buy bows than to wait for a good drop.

The higher lvl the mob, the better the drop. I find Aquanis elite and up to be the best.

The best bow i've found is a lvl 46 Impale Composite longbow of xymerald lamina(master). 63-83 +26/+20, with +4 dex.

I gave away most of my ximerald bows for the same reason. I used to say: "it will serve you well until you get to 45, then buy a dragonswing" :P

Btw i haven´t seen any dragonswing ximerald bows so far... do they really even exist?

I don't think so. They're just "Dragonswing" not "Dragonswing of Xymerald...".

I found a Composite master bow with a xymerald colored icon the other day, but it was one of the bugged ones, and had no quality or construction material. Major bummer. What's more, when equipped, it looked like an elven lb of wood! LOL..
