Might as well open a topic on which weapon class you warriors are gonna stick with. I've been mostly using TFB as my lead off attack, but since the patch is right around the corner, and TFB will be more like a passive buff, i've been debating switching to either slashing or spears...I like some of the skills in spears excepting the slashing resistance skill, and slashing has the oh so yummy south cross...blunt has very nice passives and situational skills like dizzy and cannot move, but really lacks a high dmg skill. Just curious if people are sticking with what seems to be the norm of blunt or are debating switching it up too.

Yes.. this is gonna be hard for me.
I mostly sticked to blunt cause of it's good Dizzy spell, and ofcourse Mind Squasher thats neccesary if you wanna win against a knight.
I think I'll still stick to blunt.

I would think that really smart fighters would use the various weapons types depending on the specific situation. Spears and their long reach for pursuits, blunt vs high lvl Hunters(Whose armor is "bad" vs blunt weapons), etc, etc.

Yes, that might be an option for me now.
Now I don't have to waste points in Two handed mastery anymore, cause now it's whole useless.

It's probably hard for barbs to use all 3 weapon disciplines because they need the points for the other 3 disciplines. As knight i'll keep my current 19,15,7 in weapon disciplines.

Oh that's bad

Sorry for the double post

I'm a dwarf, we're not known for our intelligence. and in just about every game i've played i've always valued high specialization over versatility. that's what groups are for. most will disagree, and that's fine.

*Edit*
You might be on to something Znurre, TFB was the only skill i used in that tree anyways

I said that 10000 times, seriously.... Why waste 300-400 something points for one skill?

You know what gets me most.....(I'm a hunter) is a damn barb that uses a spear then switches weapons (blunt or slashing). Usually I don't have problems with barbs but when they go all weapon switchy on me they get more difficult to handle.

I don't care about barbs switching weapons. Just don't let them come close, then it doesn't matter at all.
