I just play tested an archer real quick lvl 1, just to see what this piggyback thing was all about. I was just curious if this is an intended feature or a bug, because I would think that after you fire a normal shot or spell, you'd have to wait a certain duration before being able to attack again. atleast that's how it is with my barb. If someone could please explain this to me i'd be grateful.

After you shoot an arrow it takes some time to do it again. Your bow will have a time listed on it like slow or medium or fast. I don't know if piggyback will speed you up.

Piggybacking simply means that you cast a spell as soon as your normal attack commences to cut the time needed to release the next normal attack. Since the new update, this is no longer possible as your spells are simply released together with your next shot.

ok thanks for the info, i'll have to test it now that the patch is live. My barb hits like this..spell attack..wait a few...normal...normal...spell attack etc. with archers it seems like, normal AND spell attack, normal, normal, normal AND spell attack. Doesn't seem right that you get to attack twice in a row, but i'll try the new patch and see what's up
