- What video card do you have?
- Is the game crashing? When exactly? (as soon as you execute the game, after pressing "play", when you create a player character, etc).
- Is a dump being generated? Could you compress the file (rar or zip) and send it to soporte@ngdstudios.com.ar along with the file "log.txt"?

-It get disconnect after i select my character and a short time everything is loaded..
-it made and a big ass dump and i sended it to that email
The Dump has many different names by the way (a new one everytime my game crash)

- We still need to know what video card your machine has.
- Yes, the bug should be big. Using WinZip or WinRar will get you a tiny file.
- It has different names, because there are several files, everyone containing the date the crash occurred.

We will be analyzing your file you sent. In case we can reproduce the error, it will be fixed on the next update.

Sorry to continuosly disturb you with questions, but it's the only way we have to detect your problem (as it does not happen often).

Do you have firewall software activated? Which one?

The issue you are having, happens because the server is disconnecting your client due to a missing response.

Is there a possibility, it's my router that's blocking the response. I currently have NETGEAR, it have been well known to block games. Therefore i need to enable ports or port fowarding.

hello, sorry to interupt, but if you have a net gear router you should be unblocking the following ports (i did name RoX to each of them, because i wanted, you put whatever name you want).

Ro1 48000 48000 192.168.1.2
Ro2 47300 47300 192.168.1.2
Ro3 48001 48001 192.168.1.2
Ro4 9660 9660 192.168.1.2

I have the same routes so, i hope this help you.

Oh, one more thing the port protocols are:
TCP: 48000,48001,47300
UDP: 9660

That should do the trick.

i add the ports that zeroena told me in port fowarding, but it still didn't work.

The protocols are TCP for the ports 48000,48001,47300 and UDP for the 9660 one.
Another question, Are you able to player other MMORPG games besides Regnum Online?

The option you should use is Port forwarding.

If after a game update it stills generates regnum_crash_xxxx.dmp files, send them (the older ones may not be useful anymore)
And attach your log.txt and error_log.txt (located in LiveServer folder)

From what I could see from your older dump, the crash was in your OpenGL driver. Do you have an Intel Video Card?

Is your IP 192.168.1.2? Perhaps it´s another and you are not forwarding the ports in the correct way.

my i.p is 192.168.1.2 i did that to most of the other games, but who know? it could be 192.168.1.1 or something

I been reading this thread an noticed some familiar problems with other games I have tested.

Has anyone suggested to make allowances to his DEP( data execution prevention)?

In a few games where I be able to load the game, slect characters and then before I enter the server boom, error or crash to windows.

R. Click My Computer > Properties
click advanced tab > Performance > Settings
Data Execution Prevention tab > choose "Turn on DEP" > ADD

Go to the client folder and add all .exe to the list. Apply then try again.

DEP is available on XP with service pack 2, if you do not have SP2 then go and DL it at Microsoft.

Hope this helps. I am just now DL the client and getting familiar with the site.
Your actions and problems is what leads me to believe this may be your problem.

Vuubuu, if you are reading this please follow darkkhan instructions (in case you have DEP turned off).

Anyway, Regnum Online works fine out of the box with standard Windows XP SP1/SP2 configurations.
We have people playing from Argentina, Brazil, United States, Spain, Sweden and more, so we think that in Vuubuu's case is a particular one that could be a misconfiguration on his computer, his router or ISP blocking some ports, etc.

First of all, welcome to this community. Regnum is still under development but growing everyday that passes by.

And we believe in good communication between the administrators and the players. So the later won't feel stranded and abandoned when an issue comes up. Of course, right now it's somehow easy to do as there are not that many people yet.
