Emma doesn't do wars afaik (or I never see her, because I mostly ignore knights anyway), but with Getulio on hunt she's the problem. So AoO isn't the matter here, it isn't the only Knight spell, is it? And what's more, I needed a name from Syrtis... :p. Ferraje, aurons or Dekai? I prefer Emma.

Best conjurer is in my opinion Niola, Meghan is good too. I didn't saw Xzor in war many times, mostly he's playing Avlocardyl, his knight. A conjurer from the elves who's hard to kill is Lord Victor.

I have had several interesting battles, there are several persons who say that is obvious when I use Jenofonte for the form in which I attack them very similar that of the thread.

Many hunters support the range to attack to all the subclasses but my way of playing is to range melee and suicidal.

If two chase me and the fact that this surrounds me is a low level surely i will attack first the low level already he has less life and then I go for other one.

I have had very interesting battles with many levels 50 of ignis and Alsius also with low levels and believe that the aesthetics of the hunter have got lost very much ...they think that having a pet always they will win or that the skills were never trumping them and is there when I am useful in order that the enemy and me learn so much of the situation.

ohhh that explains a lot. Sometimes Jenofonte is a really tough enemy, sometimes not so much.
And yeah, you or him got me a few times.

a few good marksmen were missing, like tui or mahoney, zebedee
and Zordak is the most awsome conjurer

But as this is a teamgame i want to honor alsius as realm with the best teamplay - by far.
And the German Guardians who have awsome teamplay as clan and really skilled members. And they are nice people, even though it often seems that they merely exist to send me back to the save :clapclap:

oh and thanks to everyone who had me on the list. I really dont think im that outstanding.

For Syrtis I'd say the list of Drah and Valorius are quite good for me, I'll add Stooge for the warlock. But there is a lot of nice player so it's hard to give a name for each sub class.

Ive always kinda looked up to Lipton from Alsuis as a top guy, from what I hear, he's a good knight, excellent at leading people. I did PvP with him NUMEROUS times.

I think this whole thing goes into a seperate category tho lol, there are people that are great at war and looked up to, then there are those who you just love because they are popular like GoS XD.

Yeah you should apologize, not only Mario is anti-cheat, but he's a great person, player, strategist and leader. He stopped playing (just like Nazgul/Acido) because he thinks Warlocks need a "survival" skill; if not, he would still be first of the ranking you like so much. When he stopped he was 10k before Pelica, and would still be.

Of all the players in regnum, i used to enjoy killing him the very most.

As for his strategic vision, that is entirely debatable. I don't consider MASS gate camping late at night with 20-30 lvl 50's to be particularly visionary, nor very effective. It is however, very lame.

As for defensive spells, warlocks have more than ANYONE. What other class can take an enemies health and add it to their own? Oh, right.....there is no other class.

At any rate, my observation wrt mario stands: If he or any other player feels under-defensed, they should probably wear their armor instead of bitching(or quitting!) about how they're so vulnerable. ;)

Then, i asked for clarification from NGD as to whether or not it's true, so the man's name is not wrongly sullied(as it already has been in game, as i said, i've heard this rumor many times).

PS: I am not banned from planeshift. I have never been banned from any game or website, ever. My entire clan, and dozens of allies, all left because -we- wanted to, largely because tools like cumeri were abusing the rules to avoid IC repercussions for IC actions commited by them, and because of the RAMPANT favoritism that exists in PS between some players and mods. Period. One of the PS mods is even in my clan here. If i wanted to play PS again, all i need do is download the latest client release(which im told is a total clusterf*ck), and resume right where i left off.

The problem with that is that more often than not, you don't kill someone by yourself. So if three of you attack an enemy, and I heal and give mana to all three of you while you're killing him, who gets credit for the kill?

I would suggest a combination of RP and your idea:

Kill someone: earn 18 RP.
Get killed: earn 18 DP (death points).

Kill Ratio would be RP/DP.

That way, if you kill more than you die, you would have greater than 1 Kill Ratio. If you die more than you kill, then you would have a Kill Ratio less than 1. You would also benefit more by killing those of higher level than yourself.

Yes , but is part of the idea , you can be a level 36 and had a good participation on some war getting participation on 10 enemies kills and get only 10 RP , but being kill only 1 time.

So the efort and awesome of some lvl 36 making a very good thing will be encourage.

If only Rp given or get acounts this (allthougt also will be better than nothing) will give more oportunities to lvl 50 to be "efective"., and not only good players.


PD:Only count death made or giveng to player, not mob that kill you.

simple answer, at the time i was a lvl 17 hunter with a lvl 1 pet tasken to me was impossible but on my lvl 50 mage came up as easy making him/her about lvl 40 ergo a pants player

I'll assume you've never rented a horse, otherwise you would know a few things about them. When you cast a horse, it takes 10 seconds to summon, during which you cannot move, all your positive buffs vanish. If someone attacks you, there is a 50% chance you will be dismounted, during which time you will again be helpless for 4 seconds (more when you take into account the usual lag), and you have no buffs. By the time you can move, you'll be lucky if you have half your health left, and you'll probably be dizzy or knocked to the ground.

Oh, and it's not cheating, since NGD encourages people to rent horses, and thus support the developers.

Yeah, they are very very coordinated. I heard they use voicechat.
If it is true it is a proof that coordination and communication is a very important fact in battle.
If everybody would use voicechat battles would be much more interesting becuase of tactics that would used then. Now it is mostly an issue of who has the most players and conjus in a battle.

PS: I am not banned from planeshift. I have never been banned from any game or website, ever. My entire clan, and dozens of allies, all left because -we- wanted to, largely because tools like cumeri were abusing the rules to avoid IC repercussions for IC actions commited by them, and because of the RAMPANT favoritism that exists in PS between some players and mods. Period. One of the PS mods is even in my clan here. If you want to benefit from just putting names on a list pls at least take the time to describe *why* each name is on it & maybe limit it to a few names.

I would partially agree. Most enemies will probably not notice the names of good conjurers, because like you said, you won't see much direct evidence of them in your combat log. Sure, there will be the occasional Tremor or Ivy, but they'll rarely see "You were defeated by <a conjurer's name>" in their log. However your teammates will soon figure out if you're a good conjurer or not, rather than your enemies, because they will notice the times when you saved their butts at the last moment... or the times when you failed to heal them or give them mana.

After I die, I usually take note of who and what killed me in the logs, particularly after a very interesting battle. It's usually a barbarian, marksman or warlock that I see listed as my killer, though likely there was a lot of support provided to them by their teammates that I never saw.

The whole issue of bullshit in PS involves a lot of "gray areas", a lot of "he said, she said" nonsense and there are people on both sides of the argument that are probably not proud of some of the things they had said. I saw stuff happening on both sides, including one player vandalizing another's site and the GMs effectively defending them... BUT IT'S ALL IN THE PAST... and it's a different game ffs!!

Conjurers will never get the glory. Good conjurers never play for the glory. They play for the team. :) You are right that the team will be the first to notice a conjurer who has done a good job. In some fights, you can see how well the enemy conjurers are doing too.
