Shields are indeed a shitty category. But deflecting barrier is also indeed the best aura that a knight can have.
And its not about trully knights not using shields, its just about gamestyle of an aura knight.

Hhahaha. Its only a joke you know, even with it i like more shields tree than vanguard tree, precise blocking and the block passive make the knigth a true tank.

And yeah i hate the "i only use aura" knigths, but i hate more the "i only kill mages" knigths.

hehe, Vanguard maybe has 'less' skills to tank, but it has Army of One aaaand 2nd best aura for knight meaning Stars Shield ;)
Which I use now with Deflecting Barrier too, but really I tried to make a Aura/Fighter... its no way, Only thing now is possible an Aura/Protector which is totally not my style, but I only play it to point out its weakness, itll take some time ofc ; )
