The lag seems to be extremly bad in Ra...I think the 600+ users might be doing this soooooo...what would happen if they separated the english/spanish to 2 separate worlds? Will it help to cut the users in half? Oh and will accounts pass through both worlds or will people have to start from scratch?

no separation is solution at anytime, where would we be if more ppl come in to play ? another and another server ? splitting communities ?

they need to upgrade/update hw/sw/link and change the game maybe, they want to do then they need to do it properly

I'm against such segregation and even if it ever does happen that'll only be a temporary fix.

all the users now in the ra server would have to be put together anyway because otherwise the clans would get split people would complain their not with their friends etc

Didn't think about it like that...so how will the lag get fixed? It's scary.

Less users online generally means less lag.

Personally I can't imagine fixing the lag. It's technically impossible to improve a cheap server. NGD could buy a new one but then again - it takes money, which is kinda hard to get in a free game ;)

but I may be wrong - Capacity of a small sever can't be really extended but maybe some data flow can. /me shrugs

Only thing that springs to mind from this poor old goat is, that when you go into the warzone it would take you to a different server if this is at all possible. This would reduce the amount of players therefore hopefully the lag.

Inkster is a warlock and is big and clever.
My hunters a dwarf and therefore small and stupid and knows bugger all about servers etc

What would happen to people like Xephador, Blood, Torg Snowflake and all the others who speak both languages?

Would that mean people in inner realm wouldn't be able to /chat the people in wz, and the people in inner realm wouldn't be able to talk in clan chat to the people in wz?

Awww, I'd miss you all... I would have to create characters in both servers :ohill:

The only solution to lag is to improve the server. You can ping it and you would find out that the problem is in the code, not in the latency. It needs a complete rewrite, but that takes money AND time.

I'm against any kind of separation.
