Regnum+Vista

How do you install Regnum on Vista? I saw how on an earlier thread but it didn't work out in the end.

Install it outside the Program Files folder, i.e.: C:\Regnum.

That should work :)

2. make a shortcut to it on your desktop
3. right-click the shortcut and pick properties
4. on the compatibility tab, set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP
5. at the bottom, check run this program as an administrator
6. click apply, then ok
to make sure it works, look at the desktop icon for regnum. It should have a little shield. when you double-click to run it, it will pop up the "Allow/Cancel" menu. Click allow and off you go.

Well, with all the deals MS has with most laptop companies and retailers, you'd be stuck with vista and not know why. Not to mention some other deals with laptop companies to NOT provide xp drivers for their laptops. Kinda makes you wanna go over there and bomb the living hell out of them.

Bit of useless info for you, the original windows enviroment
was called Gemdos first seen on atari computers.
Mr apple mac like the idea and stole it for apple.
Mr gates saw it on apple loved it and stole it for Pc's

then you probably also know dos was first named qdos and bought by microsoft which was a small firm who didn't plan for anything big hence the name "micro"
