ok so ive noticed when i use the skill lightning on a barb it does like 30 dmg on a lvl 50 barb when i use it on a lvl 50 knight it does not go under 100 dmg my warlock is lvl 41 and i just wanted to ask does barb have better armor then knight? Ive tried it with my knight with armor that was good on lightning stuff so was just asking

I think it has to do with Caution.
As barbarians have bad protection, more and more barbarians are starting to worry about their protection.

They use Caution (which can reduce lvl 5 serpent bite to 13 dmg/tick on Caution lvl 4).

However, many Knights might not see any use for Caution as they already have good protection. Maybe they rather put points into some other skills.

I don't know, this is just a thought.

maybe the knight armor suxs aginst lighting damage and the barb armor is good at lighting damage now i know what staf to use TNX 4 the info :clapclap:

yep, lightning hits me really hard with my armour avg. to normal against lightning 100+ are definately not uncommon.

Im fairly sure knights still have armour x 1,4 and additional points from the shield.

thats my training staf u never noticed my real war staf i use hard fire hits to train and lightning fast staf for war its a good combo hu? one more crap about my staf ill shoove it up your ....... (self explenatory i dnt want to go there)

Thats because the Grypho armour, it have very good resistance to ligthning attacks.

It gives 30% bonus to it. There is not high lvl knigth armor with better protection to ligthning.

Protection effects DoT spells far more than resist damage does.

So it could've just been good armour to lightning + caution.

But I don't use lightning that much against warriors and marksmen anyway...Evasive Tactics + Strategic Position, Caution + good armour...

I use staff mastery for levelling myself, a fast one actually. But let me tell you something gigo, if you set your class up right, and play it support, you can multiply an army ;). I won't mind giving you tips in game if you chat me once

try to debuff the enemy first, that along with dot has a great effect ;) but I know you already use debuffs

I tested it on lvl 4 on it increases my DoT dmg by 10-15.

So 88 dmg at the max...

more elemental damage, at level 1 I did 20 more damage with lightning

Ty for answering my question but does the lion armor have good defence on lightning also because i used lightning on a barb with that armor also and it did crappy dmg and i use caution with my knight everytime i cant stand seeing more then 200 dmg on me so i always buff up even if im falling on the floor :biggrin: but thanks anyways i really need to see more things because knights have good armor on lightning and i never seen it go down to 30 if im not using AoO
