how do i play this game?

Okay i am a new comer from runescape( yes that old beat out game) and ive waited that dreadfull hour to download and things.............but i cant figure out what to go to to play the game....i mean i can log in but where do i go to start?

Welcome to this wonderful game.

Well you need to choose a realm to fight for, a class and your set.

Once you launch the game and the updates finish downloading, you will be asked to choose a realm. There are 3 realms, Ignis, Syrtis, and Alsius. Each have their own unique flavor and atmosphere. Syrtis is probably the most populated with Ignis and Alsius running behind. Once you select your realm, you will then choose your class. There are three choices at this time, warrior, mage, and archer. Depending on which you choose, around level 15 you will be able to select a speciality. For warriors you can become a knight or a barbarian. For mages you have conjuerers or warlocks. For archers there are hunters and marksmen. There are some pretty detailed posts here on the forums that detail the pros and cons of each class. You will then distribute your starting attribute points. You have five points and depending on the class you choose your distribution will vary greatly.

Once you are done with that, you will enter the game and start leveling. Talk to the NPC to obtain quests and kill the mobs for experience. Around level 30 you will want to go to the warzone and get your taste of PvP. There is also the colesium that can be fun to test out strategies against your realm mates. Remember you are fighting for a realm and not personal glory although the glory is fun!

Okay, when you click on the regnum online program click on Accept after that put your user name and password and click on Login and then the game will patch itself to its latest version.

Find the icon regnum online on your desktop.double click.accept terms of agreement on the lower part of the page.type your username and password and press log in.wait till the game is varifies and then click enter game world on the right side of the page.note enter the RA server.hope this helped

Min. level is 10 but many people train little more before deciding on the class

If you select your class at level 10 you will be short one quest. The quest that tells you to talk to the trainers tells you to come back at level 15 to decide. That's when you get the quest to choose. At least I think that's the one I'm missing because I chose at 10.

I remember doing a quest about choosing my destiny or smth like that, and I did it at lvl10 *after* I had become a marksman. So I don't think you miss out on any quests. Then again if I missed it I wouldn't know about it :p

miraculix, the quest at 10 says to go talk to the trainers and then come back at lvl 15 to choose your path. Like me you chose at 10... At least if I remember right that's what is was.

It takes a while, but if it's not moving, it might be a server crash. :P
