I purchased $20 of Xim 2 days ago when they got their paypal connection fixed. I never received it. Since then I have sent 2 emails: one to support@ngdstudions.com.ar and one to customer@ngdstudios.com.ar. I have not recieved a reply to either. I've also left a post on the general boards stucky post regarding xim and payments...also with no reply.

I'm a bit frustrated with the lack of any response as to what happened to my order...I got a valid conformation letter from paypal stating the money had been sent but nothing in my characters account after that. Does anyone know a way to get a hold of the people that control this process? Just so I can make sure someone is aware of the problem. I'm simply getting no replies no matter what I do.

Thanks for any help anyone might have.

I'm sure NGD will answer you, be patient, but I understand your frustations. Give it a few days and I bet you get it resolved. You may try PMing one of the NGD employees direct too.

yogru1,

Weird. The /one/ time I had issues purchasing ximerin (out of many...), I sent an email to customer support and had a reply within a day. A few email exchanges later, it was fixed. Like Katiechan posted, I think you just had bad timing with your purchase/problem. I purchased some the other day and got it right away.

Please, just give them a day or two more, they will fix it for you. :)

Paypal has a dispute resolution system for this type of scenario. Although NGD tends to be very responsive to the vast majority of issues, if you truly cannot get a response from them I do not see a reason not to contest the transaction.

/me hopes a contested payment wouldn't shutdown Xim purchases for another few weeks...

Thanks for the replies guy.

I can't see the new patch as being an excuse. This transaction happened 4 days before the patch and emails sent to them and messages posted. I think I'll have to do what was suggested and contest the payment with paypal.

It's very surprising to me a game this large has no customer support at all. There is literally no way for me to contact them when they don't reply to email. Am I the only one that finds that odd on a game/business of this scale?

Oh well, back to American games for me. They may charge a lot of money, but at least you have someone to call if a problem comes up.

I wouldn't give up on the game because they take a few days to respond. The NGD team is extremely small and English isn't there first language. The team consists of ~10 people and seeing the size of this game it's pretty amazing to me that it works as well as it does.

Good luck!

"Big"?
Sure, the game may be big, but the community is small, and NGD only have 7 people.

Previous patches, and this patch, have caused a lot of people to threaten to retire or to retire, 95% of a major syrtis clan containing over 170 people being some of those. They probably made sure that the update would be perfect, otherwise 1000 people would be complaining like you.

I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". When I pay $0 for the game (thank you very much NGD), I expect slow or community-only support and maybe even lag. When I pay $$$, I expect an issue directly related to those $$$ to be treated as with a more reasonable priority.

I agree, don't give up on the game, but I also say don't let someone run keep your hard-earned money without any explanation.
