I have a question about spells which make wapon damage.
Does self buffs which do more damage count in these spells?
I noticed today (after I changed to shortbow setup) that my recharged arrow does not influence the damage of dual shoot.
Is this how it is intended to be?
Edit: For lethal strike I know it adds the addidtional damage of recharged arrows.
Edit 2: correction, recharged arrows adds no additional damage to lethal strike. I was wrong there as Froste proofed in his post.

Recharged arrows somehow doesen´t affect weapon damage based skills (lethal strike included) but manuver, lightness, specialist, dirty fighting, feline dex, weapon bless, onslaught and off with their heads do.

I've wondered the same thing about my barb's weapon damage. If I have thirst for blood and then I use south cross, will south cross involve thirst for blood?

I thought thirst for blood and recharged arrows both specifically state that their bonus damage is only applied to normal attacks, not power attacks.

Recharged arrows
The marksman channels her vital energy into arrows to improve damage. Only the basic attack is affected by this power.
Yes, you are right Froste. Next time I'll check the spell description better.

as blood stated in another thread recharged arrows increases damage of dual shoot as well as damage of lethal strike.
Can someone confirme this? I tested it some times ago and it was not like that.

Blood was wrong. Recharged works like tfb. Dmg is added to hit not to dmg pool. Maneuver will increase dmg of weapon, same with many buffs but recharged is not working this way.

I was testing this combo while grinding at hl and it wasn't working like Blood described. Recharged is not weapon dmg magnification but single arrow magnification :]
About this ambush :D don't tempt me to be back to high lvl stalker :D
EDIT: Just checked it on Amun. Yes recharged doesn't change amount of dmg from dual shot.

I have a question, maybe it's a stupid one but it's been on my mind quite some time so i have to ask.
How does 100% weapon damage work? I thought it means you hit the maximum from the range of normal hits. For example if I have a weapon (fictional) with dmg range 50-100 and another 100 additional dmg from stats and bonuses, then the normal hits would be 150-200 (forget opponent's armor etc.) and 100% weapon dmg would be always 200.
But if I play my barb and use Balestra, it hits always less than normal hits. The difference is about 10% (~60 dmg), it looks more like the weapon's minimum.
On the other hand Gutting (100% weapon dmg + 175 piercing bonus on lvl 5) seems to work fine and the dmg is properly higher than my normal hits.
Can someone please explain it to me?

100% weapon damage should equal your normal hits, but if you use TFB it will be lower since it only effect your normal hits.
You can both hit the highend or lowend of your base damage with a 100% spell, atleast i havent noticed anything else.

Hm do spells with 100% weapon damage get a random normal hit to count as the weapon value? Or is it a fixed value? If it's a random normal hit, could it possible take the damage value of a critical hit as well?
Froste

No, only regular hits

Yes, random base damage. So no critical hits with spells.
