A Couple of Questions

Hey, I just joined and I'm still downloading the game, but I have a couple of questions...

How much will my knowledge of Spanish effect how well I can interact with people? Ie, do the vast majority of people speak Spanish and much fewer speak English? I know some Spanish, but not enough that I could make many friends using it.

Does it matter which realm you choose? Are there any differences (both literally and in the types of people)?

First off, Welcome. For your first question, Regnum is a mainly spanish speaking game. So if you don't know enough spanish to really get into a conversation, your gonna want to find a nice English speaking clan. (Like, If your in Syrtis, Inquisition, we are completely english-speaking.) As for you second question, Deciding your realm is a big part of the game. Syrtis' Landscape is like a giant forest. The races are Alturians(humans) Half Elves, And Wood Elves. Alsius is a giant frozen wasteland. It is mostly snowy in the inner realm. There are Uthgars(i think giant goats) The human-like class(cant remember their name,) and dwarves(tiny). Iginis is a Huuuuuge desert where Night Elves practice their freaky necro-magic. There are also Molok and the human like race. Now that ive typed my hands off, i hope that helps. So welcome to the game!!!!

(Someone Fill in the other race names in Alsius and Ignis that i missed.)

Haha... I looked at the different character options and chose Syrtis. I'm don't really know how to get gold, though, but on the bright side I killed 2 monsters. Thanks for the help.

a few more monsters and you grow lvl now for making money i got this helpful tip: money is not made its earned-probaly the smartest thing i ever said. its easy when you kill monsters you get some drops go to a merchant talk to them clic on comerse and then sell, then start making your mula :bananajoy: to keep money i would sugjest to only buying one weapon until lvl 5 or 10 after that buy every 5 lvls. if you get something to low lvl or not for your class give it to someone else im sure they will apresiate it :smile: if you cant find anybody sell it. good luck and enjoy syrtis :syrtis:
