Hello.Excuse me for this stupid question.I'm from russia,my english is rather bad and i'm playing regnum only for several days.Regnum is the first mmog i'm playing.So when other players use abbreviations,talking to me,i cann't always understand them.Could you decipher some usfull abbreviations?

sounds like we have meet before, if your german is better try muspel and the other servers. here are some of my unique abriviations...

OMFG-oh my fucking *lord's name in vain* <---- wont say that
OMG-oh my god
FY- fuck you, never mistake this for....
TY-thank you
NP- no problemo also works with spanish
TNX- thanks
GRX- thnx in spanich
dnd- "de nada" your welcome in spanish
HOLAS/wnas/ols...ect - greeting in spanish such as hi, hellow ect ect
ACA- you will be seeing this alot in WZ, spanish for "there"
AQI- spanish for "here"
PT-noob
i cant think of any more these are the most used ones that poop up in my head for help interpreting slang or spanish PM. :thumb:

nope its literary meaning in espanol is your welcome but they are still used the same way in RO.

for ex: someone gives some one else something: gracias, de nada. (thank you, your welcome)

No, that's the literal translation (actually it would be "For nothing" as in "Thanks!" reply "For nothing"). The actual translation is "you're welcome". Each language has its idiom to reply to "thanks", in German it would be "bitteschön" which doesn't literally translate "you're welcome" either but does translate to "you're welcome". In Spanish "de nada" is both the French's "de rien" translation and literal translation.

When you translate idioms the literal translation matters little.
