Had PvP against Yoseba twice today.

And if he hits you once (or at most twice), you're dead. Feel free to PVP him. IMO he is the most dangerous barbarian in the field of battle at this time.

Hm you got lucky evading that SC on the second fight, but it looks like you could have probably survived it anyway, because he managed to cast it again just before he died, and it didn't do these insane hits I've seen ;)

Obviously you won, even I won him with the Knight :p. If you get unlucky with Mind Squasher and he casts a 3k SC though you're screwed :p.

Congrats for winning, but exactly what are you trying to prove? Only that val was wrong?

What i mean is, i dont care if i can beat him in a randomly situation over the wz, it will still be pretty unbalance if during a war he cast a 3k sc on me (enough for killing my five lvl 40+ characters of one hit).

Yoseba maxed his SC dmg but he's no example on what concerns to doing a good balanced barb set... as this post proves.

Talked with Yoseba, he is just bored of the spam around him and his amazing SC hits and the fact people said he was cheating and stuff like that.

Hm I don't remember anyone saying he was cheating, just that his SC hit for insane damage. I didn't think of cheating when I saw the screenshots - just of a possible barb setup that made that possible...

Many people supposed at first he was bugged in spanish forum, but it's not the case ; just some a particular setup (with no protection at all, pure damage) + strength items.

We´ve been saying that for a long time in the balance forum...

A solution they haven´t aplied yet is to let us equip rings in the horns, so we get the bonus but not the armor. Sounds logical.

Yoseba just hitted me for 3475 damage. This would have killed every non-warrior in 1 hit.
(btw, I had a lot more bad luck this night...)

He killed me in just 2 hits from max health THROUGH lvl 5 acrobat, spell elude AND SOTW last week.

In fact he hit me one time last week with a 1200hp base attack.

There are many different ways to play all classes, I play my warlock less on the dmg side and more on the control side. I could easily just Terror + Golem Fist + Meteor someone and reduce half their health, I prefer to use some mental spells. But there is nothing wrong with that setup, both SC and Arcania - it's quite devastating.

SC is about luck ... you have 80% of making more dmg (almost double)...

Yoseba has chossen a way of play, all atttack, no defense, if he touch you, you are mostly death (pretty same to maton), pay attention to they playrole:

war: stay back, and attack when everybody in frontlines of both sides has engaged with someone, run as hell to you, most likely they will attack a injured player, lets say around half life, hit 1 or 2, and go back running as hell again.

hunt: choose magicians first, as always, sidekicks silence/dizzy/whatever, barb run as hell and ZAS you death. Also attacking by back yields good.

And all that is ok.

I had PvPed Yoseba 3 times, once of that he was lvling and have 300 life, I wait him to kill the mob, challenge him, and wait him to recover. The 3 times he did NOT touch me, not a single base hit. 3 PvP not only with full life, but no one hit/skill. After that I noticed, what I stated before, and that is pretty balanced for me, if you see him, before he strikes, and he is alone he is most likely death, if he get to you by surprise (or you injured) you death, if he is with other ppl and you alone you death (anyone). In RvR click him (or maton) with range, when he start the running to the group kill him in the way to you, I killed (we) him that way 2 nights ago in samal around 40 times, even more maybe.

Now... put a range fighter, lets say a warlock, against a "madness 5" barb... = death warlock, but that is the oppositve Yoseba-setup.

Of course, he wants Berserk(5) and Overwhelming strength(5) so he probably has Warcries maxed.
This means that he has at least Unstoppable madness(1), possibly more.

Those 2 spells are the MAJOR diff between Maton and Yoseba, although Yose tends to hit quite a bit harder, Maton can take a bit more damage. In a PVP, the 2 would be quite a show
