I have enought of people abusing of disconnection/reconnection to get away from fort wars for free.

And please don't tell me the 3 of them crash and reconnected exactly at the same time. They did it on purpose.


Please guys don't jump to the conclusion that it's a realm tactics. It's just some bunch of loosers, but all thoses guys are lowering the fun of fort wars. If they could be ban, It will be really ok.

PS: Yes it's bad to name people, but as it is ok to complain about me using my lvl 19 subclass spell to hide from a group, I don't feel like being nice now.

well dracus, I don't know the other's, but I know Kathris Starsong. She crashes very often, especially during fort wars. And she is very nice and helpful and reconnects immediately after a crash to help her realm mates. She is a full support conju and it would just stupid to force a crash and relog after.

When I want to avoid to die, I would wait some minutes and then relog, because then the enemies hopefuly took the fort and are already away from the fort.

Also, you cannot ban someone for loging out of the game and for relogging later to avoid beeing killed. When you have the time to log out there is no problem with it. Other is when you force your client/connection to crash. As long as you log out regulary you just used the game mechanics. And this is not cheating.

Of course it is lame to go in fort and log out then during a fort war, just to avoid giving rp.
But for Kathris Starsong I can say for sure she does not use this lame tactis.
Just because you were blamed for running away and hiding you don't have to blame innocent people.

Once, quite big group high lvl ignis wanted to get free rp this way (take fort, kill few syrtians, and when is hot - tower and disconnect)... but they stoped this childish play.

Lately, fort crashes are very very often for me, it's why I'm stopping them and going to hunt with starsky...

Maybe some of them had it, but I don't think is for all of them a matter of crash :|

I did not blamed you for using your skills. Did I? I just said because others blamed you for it there is no reason to blame others for crashing/disconnecting.

You call others cheaters who either crashed innocently or who are using the game mechanics given by NGD to them. You even ask for a ban of them. It is not the player's fault when they use game mechanics, it is NGD's fault to alllow player to use game mechanics in this way.

Actually you flame on others when you call their names in public and calling them cheaters. A cheater is only who crashes his client on purpose, simple loging out is lame. But even calling others lame because they maybe crashed during a fort war and ran away after relogging because all their mates were dead is flaming.

The only remedy known to dwarf is logging out and back in. Usually people do this when there's a small pause during the fight, so a few people do at once. Unfortunately sometimes it takes time to get back in and the loss of a few people sped up the fort lost, so when you log back in the fort is mostly lost or totally lost, door broken, etc.

So imho you are fast to jump to conclusions. Only some barbs and hunters try to escape forts.

As a matter of fact it was 4 syrtis vs 3 ennemies, so no way it could be the lag attack, and when they logged back we were attacking the door. So I'm not sure you're argument is valid in that case. I'd like to thank you because I didn't know about that, When I lagging at fort wars I tried once to disconnect and reconnect and for me it wasn't better. I think it was because the server was lagging and not my client.

Im with Cumeri here, Kathris doesn't log out just to avoid giving rp, she does however have bad
connection problems, as already said mostly at fort fights.
I can tell you this for sure as i hunt with the same 3 people most of the time,
the party consisting of Kathris, Eli, Twinkle (on her alt) and myself.

The other thing is we use voice chat, now when we die, we lie there for a
considerable period of time talking about why we lost the fight.
Do you think we would tell Kathris to log in knowing she would die? No we wouldn't.

Kathris is a great team player who plays the game for enjoyment, none of us see
the point in cheating as if you need to cheat to get anywhere, you may as well go off and play ludo
or something. As Cumeri said Kathris is a full 100% support conjurer.
Would a support conjurer log out or self crash leaving his/her team mates to die? simple answer no.

The picture you posted only shows one thing, you killed Kathris nothing more.

As for the other 3, looks like they could have self crashed, 3 at the same time is a huge coincidence

It seems I have jump to fast to the conclusion for her, but for the 3 others as Inkster said it is very unlikely they didn't do it on purpose.

I would also add, sometimes it's easy to fall in false conclusions, like a time I was pissed about alsius camping samal market and got killed several times with the marksman... There was also Znurre in the group, so I thought he was camping with them (still I didn't know him), but sometimes you can't know exactly what's happening. Now that I know him I can be sure he wasn't camping and is one of the players I mostly respect.

Hope it's all a matter of "pissment" xD

but that aside it is unlikely that they all went at the same time or close to it but i've lost so many kills because of people who kill their process wow so you dont wanna loose some rps? its rps it doesnt exactly mean alot at this point unless theres an explosive device attached to your back that explodes if you give a couple rps away. but i dont know all the facts and technically we havent heard their side of the story so its best to let it go

I don't care about amount of RP i get. I'm more about helping than dammage for example. What I want is a clean fight, not a shitty run after abusers that close their clients at the same time.

After Yes it's just a matter of me being pissed off, Feanor. You know I'm a nice guy (and I try not to be so much of an asshole in game), but when it's too much ... going back to training my noob barb.

I can vouch for Kathis.....very honorable player. As for the others - one of those guys I've never seen before but that knight <blah> Juniors is a wicked pt....

He'll come cruising through the meni save area killing those low on health and when a few of us come over to help.....well - he springs and self-crashes....seems to anyway - a few times now. I actually waited around for 20 minutes waiting for him to come back so I could kill him...

But....Kathis is great.....
