I left Syrtis, and this time for real....

Hi all, some months ago I wrote a thread about how I was leaving Syrtis, and going to Ignis. I know I fell back on my word in a lot of ways, and that upset some people. I am here to tell everyone openly that I will not be back in Syrtis unless it is for chatting or watching us get run over at some fort. I am leaving Syrtis because of a personal reason mainly, and it brings to mind some very hard things for me to cope with when I play there. There are also other reasons why I left Syrtis.

1. Too many people in my book
2. The lack of coordination is very apparent, and even with bigger numbers we still tend to have no organization.
3. I think the offensive attacks that people are making of there supposive realm mates is just plain wrong.

Trust me, this time I will not be back, and I am really happy in Alsius. The most undermanned, most coordinated, and nicest realm I have ever joined. The Vahalla clan has taken me under its wing and has helped me every step of the way, Inkster has shown me some cool hunting strategys that I have never done before, and the place is just so damn cool. You don't have this bitching and moaning that goes on by some of the Syrtis about wanting my items or whats going on with you and you. I am just fed up with the place, and frankly I don't give a damn if anyones going to bitch me out for the move.
Too be honest once you go Alsius you will never go back. The place is just that cool to me. So if you see a little hunter running around by the name of big gun, you may know who it is. :)

My class is a Dwarf Hunter. I really didn't leave the realm because I had a specific problem with anyone, but it was for personal reasons.

After my graduation I was very depressed because of the people who destroyed it.

In the following days I started to play with my new lvl 50 Warlock seriously and i realized that it was not the same like a few days/weeks before.
No Siona, no Darlitak, no Stooge, no Refetan, ... most of the people I liked to play with because they were good(!) and nice left the game or changed the realm.

Everyone knows, I am a teamplayer and when there is no good team I wont play.
After being disappointed and without good hunts I decided to try an other realm.

And I really feel good in Alsius now, it fits me better than Syrtis the last weeks did. Although I am very low I have fun in the warzone, fun with the leveling and I am looking forward to hunt with Big Gun :)

For sure, I miss my Warlock and still some players of Syrtis (/me is waving to German Guardians, Inquisition and Guardians of Power), but it was time wasting to play there in the last weeks. I miss the good old partys!

It will dispell lets say, death sentence on you or your allies, but wont dispell acrobatic from that enemy marksman you hate that much.

Imagine rising a whole army that has just been knocked down by terror, sweet.

Permitting 1 mage to remove all the negative buffs on one side with one single spellcast is a tremendously potent capability.

And the 2 minute cooldown only makes it that much more so. All the other lvl 19 area skills are 3 min cooldown, right?

But it is mostly mages who have area crowd control spells in the first place :p
Caltrop arrow is a tremendous area spell that almost no one uses already. Dispel trumps this area attack with one spell cast. And has a 50% faster cooldown.

I see these things as highly imbalancing.

When you get sandstorms, as i dont wear pants the sand blows up my butt crack ^^

I just spend 10 days at the beach....sand is not fun....sand finds places to hind that you can only imagine.

It annoys me when the Goats attack Central from the West , as i have to stop my campaign against Ignis to come kill the goats.

Probably 85-90% of my efforts are directed against Ignis. I usually only fight against goats at Stone and Central.

As for why i stand there sometimes and don't attack you its a case of wtf mod again i cant be arsed. or i feel sorry for you coz you have died enough, or i could be im rolling a ciggie and ink and eli & kathris can kill you, or i need a pee or a coffee, and sometimes its even lag.
or maybe just maybe i likes ya and don't wanna kill ya lol.

lol no it's probably because im in soooo many fights i cant possibly remember them all.
im a pretty easy target coz i don't buff myself up and use sow,
i neither do i use a pet. so when i do kill someone its me doing it not a pet or because im so buffed up know one can touch me.
if i don't attack there is usually a reason for it to.
ie: maybe i know someone is trying to lvl to grad XD

I do my best. I wait for some positive changes.
But I will delete the rolauncher and take a break. I really need some time for thinking of this.... I am just addicted to Alsius and Valhalla :wub2:, but the update is too much for a slow lvler like me.
