i havent found that quest yet, im assuming you get it at lvl28 (im a few thousand xp short of lvl28). who gives the quest? ill give it a shot later today.

If you go down the main entrance of altaruk (the long walk with the pillars), there is a bunch of rocks straight down and a little to the right, the tomb of elements is behind one of those rocks, just inspect the rocks and you'll find it (:

the last quest i got from tarik was when i was lvl26..i think. im lvl28 now and when i checked tarik again i didnt see any quests available.

He tells you that you need to speak with Amer to continue the mission, it helps to read the quest text (:

It will also move to other persons thruout the whole quest, so you better read it to find out who next to speak to (:

EDIT: And Amer tells you to go talk to someone in Allahed, please, read it from now on.

i have not had any quest from tarik or otherwise asking me to find the tomb of elements. i went to tarik after achieveing lvl28 and was not offered any quests.

No, Tarik tells you to go talk to Amer, Amer sends you to find the tomb of elements, and then he sends you onward to the town of Allahed to talk to the next person in line.

EDIT: There is one part I missed, before he sends you to talk to Amer, Tarik tells you to go make contact with another member of the secret order in Allahed, so it's Tarik --> Allahed --> Tarik --> Amer --> Allahed
