I made a char on syrtis, PERHAPS they have alot of people who speak english, but they never bloody speak, atleast not on 'syrtis chat' dammit syrtis is the most unsocial realm ive been to! Atleast Ignis will talk to you.

Sorry to flame on Srytis but its true, atleast at the times when i was there (for about 1hr)

In absolute numbers I think there are more English players in Syrtis. But relative I really wouldn't know. But one thing I do know is that the English speaking players of Syrtis aren't very active at the 'main' chat. It's mostly Spanish only, so most non-Spanish use the clan or general chat channel.

i once when to syrtis chat.. made a char named A R I E S when i said hello/hola....i swear like 20 people started to flame me...calling me names..cursing at me in spanish that i didnt even understand ...syrtis might have the most numbers and english people but you better find a good clan before a little kid finds you and gets you mad....

yes it's annoying, but there's nothing we can do about it, rely on your clan to get there and help instead, alternatively message people in other clans to get them there as well (here I talk about english ones)

English and German, are the foreing languages here, because is an Argentinian development.

English is not the center of the world.

A lot of spanish ( in fact, latin american are the most players ) people understand english as a second language.

Maybe you could take the opportunity to learn some spanish. :)

I don't think it's a bad thing that Spanish is the main language. I do think it's bad that English are being treated bad when they try to speak English.

Creating separate channels for English and Spanish have been discussed a lot at this forums. I suggest that you'd dig up one of those threads if you're really interested, but I wouldn't reccomend it, since the outcome has been almost everytime negative.

its because noobs never notice the GENERAL chat tab i think NGD should change that, dnt woory syrtis got the best defence but terrible ofence and we are working on converting that

you have to make a new character in another account, or delete all your characters and make the new characters in another realm

heyllo and welconme to syrtis (i know im late shuddup), well im in inquis too so i should be able to help you aswell. also about the whole syrtis realm chat the reason we dont talk is mainly because what we say is lost within all the spanish spam, thats not to say english people dont use it but we dont use it often. If ever i see someone whos new and triyng to get help i always try to give them some help and yes some spanish people are very very rude who tell you to speak english.
