ngd changed fatigue and heres the reason why translated-

"alot of ppl were just leveling and gettting to level 50 to fast wich upset us, so we deicided to impliment fatigue so these players could experiance wars and pvp batles. fatigue ended being misunder stood so we made some changes (i dnt understand all the % thingy ask xeph to figure it out danmit or go :fingers: you self and wait for a valid translation) ...fatigue now starts after killing 5mobs and instead of 3hours its 4hours since most players dont play past 4hours (i think he said 90%).

now lts hope our friends comeback as far as i understood no word on less xp.

Gigo the % thing, lets say you get 100xp for a mob, after 4 hours of grinding you would get 60xp instead of the hundred, then at 6 hours of grinding you would get 20xp instead of 0 (hence the 60% and 20%)

they still have the fatigue system in place (albeit a little modified), they STILL have the xp curve set to the new levels and they are apparently playing games with the xim in such a way that they effectively charge more to those that buy in the EUR as opposed to the US (thats called a hidden price hike folks!).

This and they failed to trust us, the users, to help them?!?!?

NDG says that it as well as being a money matter it is a health issue, and there thinking of our health hmmm. so people don't put the proverbial gun to there heads and get ill from staying on a game to long.
but if you by xmerian you don't lose out on the fatigue.
but if you don't by xmerian you get stung by it, so they slow you down and stop you from damaging yourself.
to me that says they care about the health of non paying customers but hell let the customers suffer all the ills of being in game to long.
as for the wait for the reset it should be done at an appointed time each day like when they redo the web page update .so it does not matter when you use your time up on fatigue everyone's is reset at the same time.
but saying that i think maybe it shouldn't be so long before it is reset though 12 hours maybe.
it is good to see that NGD are actually listening a bit at long last,it maybe just a game to them and to most of us but as its been said a hundred times before its the community that has been built up between the players, we may kill each other but in the end and when things go wrong we stick together (most of us anyway).

lag did go down, wars got a bit better the other day 12mins in pinos and i along with half the ppl couldnt see the door. but yes NGD's plan is working to get ppl into pvping and encoriging RvR.

as for myself i just want to play a game to relax and have fun and not have to worrie what screwup is coming next.
and im quite happy to by xmerian now iv got me paypal sorted ( and have ) but when they pull stunts like they just have makes me think im wasting my money and time.
this could be a brill game if handled right. i hope they think harder on the next implementation on the next update is all.

Im still not coming back even if I had already left and said I wouldn't come back before the update, my name is Rated Redge, I'm just really whiny right now and will behave like a child and stomp my foot. I had already stopped playing and certainly wasn't going to buy any xim or support NGD at any time, but this update to a game I don't play really makes me mad. well,
I see some of you are starting to accept the new reality. However, I don't and I am rightly justified for not doing so and here's why:

1. they still haven't fixed the bugs that have been present since release
2. they need to reset back to previous XP and no fatigue system
3. quit playing games with the currency exchange rates
4. take our suggestions for alternative funding (hello NGD, its in the forums if you bother to look!) <see point one then possibly consider a subscription based system perhaps?>
5. make a damned mac client.

I demand the game back the way it was, with an errata on known bugs and to have those bugs fixed POST HASTE. anything less is unacceptable.

its not just graphical or terrain errors.

other problems of note:
1. game freezes in linux (no dumps, just freezing that causes me to have to hard kill the pid the game owns)
2. core dumps (reported these with the attached files every time. seen no action on any of them that I know of
3. segfaults. no cores dump, game just disappears.
4. I have witnessed this game cause a windows box to freeze up to the point where windows would blue (or black) screen (on my room mates box running windows xp).

here's the real clincher for me: they had the audacity to ask me for a donation of a mac unit so they could "port their client software" to it! They even posted that right here in public! WTF? you can draw your own conclusions on this one....

personally, I feel more than a little abused.

Well this game is probably one of the best games with Linux support, I can assure you they work on it constantly, thats why there are so many Linux users here.

I would be completely satisfied if only all keyboard shortcuts were configurable (and that has a little to do with Linux) because I'm a left-handed laptop player (so I have to use arrow keys and those around them and numbers for casting spells are too far for me)

I'm almost sure that Regnum is the only MMORPG with native Linux client, which is (relatively) free to play, has a nice looking graphics (wtf planeshift?) and the idea of the game is great (I'm looking forward to invasions)... so there is not much needed to do for Linux players rather than to all players
For me, this price (fatigue and xp curve) is still acceptable for "the one" Linux game in its category
