Someone told me they weren't sure if Dispel and mass dispell were working. Before i start thinking about using it/them i would like to make sure everything is ok with these spells. Also, is there anything i should know about how they should be used?

They work fine. The only problems is that you cannot use any of them if you have an enemy selected, if you are under Darkness, or in Sanctuary.

PS: this should go to Beginner's Help.

I realise this now. I did look where to put it but obviously i didn't look hard enough because i failed to notice the Beginner's Help forum. But hey, Magnet, with you keep on buzzing in my ear about where i ought to put things, i'll start to get it right soon. ;)

before this gets deleted i would like to suggest that the perfect time to use dispell and to test if it works cus i hope it does is when MoD is active on allys, tremmor or terror is trown and a conju is left standing if that conju uses disspell will everybody get back up and be fine? :hat: ill look for the other tread about this

p.s are u who HB is talking about all the time?

gigo, MoD is a spell that is casted every second again I thin. That means even if you evade/resist/block it you can be effected with the next casting of MoD. So, dispell won't help against MoD, but against tremor it should.

btw, I found a nice desription for MoD too: black onion rings :)

MoD's refresh rate is every 7 seconds..or maybe 4 seconds..or was it 6 seconds?

Well, Dispel would get rid of MoD for whatever amount of seconds the refresh rate was.

it's 4 seconds

cumeri taranes, an aura can't be resisted/blocked/evaded afaik. However you can still cast spells until the refresh rate has given you mod.
But it can be prevented with mind black, di, madness and defensive stance
