Ok you guys, I'm back for another stupid question:biggrin:
I have a lv 21 Warlock and I'm getting kind of bored with gaining exp, so I was going to make a new character to give me something to do when I got tired of killing monsters for hours on end. My first character is in Ignis, but all the Spanish there is getting to me and so I thought "I'll go to a different realm!"
Only I can't, can I? Did I miss something vital or am I stuck in Ignis with this account? Would it be terrible of me to make a different account to go to a different realm?

I do believe its against NGD policies to make 2 accounts to go into different realms. Someone correct me if I am wrong. However, many people do it anyways. The account you have is in Ignis and will stay in Ignis unless you delete your characters and go to a different realm.
Plus if you are going to a different realm to get away from the spanish people, then good luck! All realms have spanish people. :P Maybe try Alsius? :) I hear its a pretty cool place!

You can make another account for that, yes. Just donīt use it in the forum, thatīs a ban, as far as I know.
Also, I have A loong post (http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum/showthread.php?t=26580) on warlock configs for lvl 23, should serve you well if you want to speed up a bit.

Thanks guys.
Shawnzie: I don't want to be away from all the Spanish, but everyone I meet speaks it and nothing else it seems! I read another post somewhere saying that Ignis was the worst for that, and that one of the other realms had a pretty good amount of English speakers :)
El_Naso: Thanks for the post, I'll be reading it for sure :)

Holas! Come on! We are not so bad!
I play on the three realms, and in my experience the English speakers are many more on some realm at certain times of the day. I think you will get use to some Spanish words and you will learn some basic stuff, but I guess it is not as good as chat with someone.
I guess you should try to find a clan which more people play at the same time of the day as you do. I have read that post you are talking about, but I actually met English speakers from Ignis.

Haha guys, I didnt mean to start a recruitment war :P
jpicon: I'll check out that link, thank you :)
210paul and Cool_is_i: My second account did actualy go to Syrtis, but I've only played that character for an hour so I doubt it's clan ready ;)
Miriya: I don't dislike spanish-speakers, I'm just bad with the language :P It was mandatory when I was in school and so I took 7 years of it, but I can barely say 'Hola' :P Spanish and I don't get along. I can speak Latin, French, some Italian, a little Japanese, and of course English, but not Spanish for some reason :sifflote:

How about Korean? From my birth in Regnum, I've been the only Korean playing here that I know of. ... Oh well.
True that sometimes it is overwhelming to look at the realm chat and see it flooded with spanish. But try to holler some english inspite of it and you'll see. Some english speaking people could happen to be fluent in spanish due to this game (I think). Some spanish speaking people could also speak even a little english and they even try to their best extent (in my experience) when they feel like it. But I suppose it is also true that it depends on the time you log in.
I still wish you good luck and hope that you get to hone your spanish speaking skills here and put that mandatory lessons into god use through Regnum Online.

I think my spanish has improved a lot just because of Regnum. All the years of taking it in school did nothing... I'd just forget it. But Regnum has finally given the language a use for me!
