Higher level pets?

Gonna stick my neck out here. I can now capture pets that are 'Normal' but have a challenge bonus. Seems like I remember only being able to capture 'Normal' mobs with no challenge bonus. Is this an error that will be corrected or is it going to stay this way?

They made it so that you can capture a pet one level higher than you. Lvl 51 pets are now possible :)
