wtf is up with "special" as an item property? XD
I just found a mage hood, so I can't try it. Anyone knows what it does?

Nope, some items had special bonus (damage bonus, particularly) that wasn't clearly visible.
With this huge SPECIAL in yellow, you can't miss it no more ^^.

I think it was a good idea, not because of the "special" thing, but because you have these items in different color on the inventory. In my "item farming" days a couple of months ago I always had to check 3 or 4 times if I wasn't selling the wrong loot...

If they're gonna have color-coded items, it might as well be gray-white-green-blue-purple. ^^

Miraculix, just found my barb some lvl 50 200+4 Lion gauntlets with +5 concentration. I think thats special. xD

It was probably the most special drop I've had so far :p

That and the lvl50 Marksman gloves with +4 dex.

I've only seen +6 items from Vesper so far. I heard there are +7 too, not seen any yet.

I've heard rumors of a +10 item, but i've never seen one. The most i've seen personally is +5.

People are forgetting that Concentration is hit chance, and spell impact chance. The stat was modified an update or two ago, and I really wonder how much that +5 really impacts my spell impact chance? I also have a +5 intell hat for my barb, but it is only 160 armor, so I mostly wear it on hunts. I can't afford to wear it in fort wars because I need all the armor points I can get.

Yeah, concentration is a very underrated stat. I wouldn't say no to a all conc-bonus armor set. ^^

+5 Int... Whoa, dude. If you can find a good conj to protect you during fort wars, you should take all chances you could to wear that hat.
(I have a +4 Int lvl 39 mage hat myself. It's cute)

To those who are wondering about Concentration, here is the best way to make your build:
1) Bring in primary stat from passives, buffs and items
2) Bring in secondary stat (Concentration) from passives, buffs and items

This way, you gain twice as much hit chance and spellfocus as is normally possible with just primary stat bonuses. Remember that Concentration is a secondary stat, and is meant to be used as such.
