Syrtis mount is nothing of above. Its just funny.
At first when I tried I said:"Wtf, turkey?"
At first I laughed at walk. Even Froste was running behind me and laughing all day.
Then I started to like that mount, its walk, tail etc.

And when we put all mounts in one line on Amun, I must say I like that Syrtis mount because its totally different than all others. Other mounts tend to be "omfg powerful", but Syrtis one is bit funny, happy, colorful, shows bright side of life, asks for a smile. Other mounts are "oh cool, i saw it in Star Wars" or "wow it looks like my first dragon in WoW I bought, cool".

I understand disappointment, you think Syrtis needs to have mount decent like Alsius or Ignis, but looking at ro history, Alsius wants to expand territory, so they need some "war oriented" mount. Ignis wants revenge, so they need "war oriented" and "furious looking" mount.
Syrtis is calm realm (in history ofc, in real its pure hell), elves enjoying in life, nature, woods... Its not "war oriented at all". Like this mount. Ofc it has "armor" since we are in war now with other realms.

Many would say on this historical view as "pfff, we want to have something pr0 as other realms". And I m not against ofc. :) After all, maybe Syrtis get intentionally this kind of mount, as part of realm balance, so less people would like to play in Syrtis. :D

I know Anpu, that's really wise of you looking at it like that. But that's one of many reasons for me to stop liking Syrtis. I chose that realm to make fun of myself mostly. :p Turns out Syrtis really is overpopulated, not really coordinated, full of spammers and noobs, not many people like to help others and half of Syrtis has actually accounts on other realms because Syrtis has nothing special to offer besides variety of quests.

Look at Ignis. It's full of originality. Desert, nomads, volcanic creatures! Undead valleys, Igneos! Dead trees, the architecture, the monoliths, huge Allahed's Statue!

Look at Alsius! Mountains full of snow and ice, Yetis, sabre cats, damn awesome cities with ports and SHIPS! Look at the awesome race, Uthgars, very original! POZO! Wow this is the most special place of Regnum I like to visit!

Syrtis.. now... eh. It's like every other "good" race in every other game. Wood elves. Humans. Half elves... Only place I like there is Arvanna. There's nothing special or outstanding I could point out. I was hoping that at least we could get something original when it came to mounts!
... white horse. Okay, yay, I can at least buy Alsius' Pony :p but then, special mounts! Oh... great. :/
