How does "Hawk's gaze" work?
Does it work and what is ur experience with this Spell?

Hawks gaze increases the attack speed of the marks, so in other words, you shoot normal attacks faster.

Hmm...ok, but does the spell work? I heard something, that this spell doesn´t work. Is that right?

You can try it if you want to know if it works. Reset powers, and try on mobs.

Good Morning from Germany,

i´ve made some Tests yesterday, to see if the Spell works or not.

What shall i say, it doesnt work!!

Test 1:

Medium Short Bow -----> 1 Hit at the enemie
Medium Short Bow + Rapid Shot (25% attackspeed) ----> 2 Hits at the enemie
Medium Short Bow + Hawk´s gaze(50% attackspeed) ----> 1 Hit at the enemie

Test 2:

Fast Short Bow -----> 2 Hits at the enemie
Fast Short Bow + Rapid Shot ----> 2 Hits at the enemie, but close to get 3 Hits
Fast Short Bow + Hawk´s gaze ----> 2 Hits at the enemie

Test 3:

Medium Long Bow ----> 1 hit at the enemie
Medium Long Bow + Hawk´s gaze ----> 1 hit at the enemie

Test 4:

Slow Long Bow ---> 1 hit at the enemie
Slow Long Bow + Hawk´s gaze ----> 1 hit at the enemie, but so fast as a medium long bow


So, my question:
Does Hawk´s gaze only work with a Slow Long Bow?

I tried ----> Fast Short Bow + Hawk´s gaze ----> 2 Hits at the enemie

The spell doesen´t work because if it did it would wreck balance. I heard they have the fix and that they implemented it on amun a few times to test it, and it turned out to be so incredibly powerful that it would allow you to dacimate anybody in seconds. So they left it as it was, I guess until a new spell can replace it or until they can figure out a way to modify it without rendering it completely useless.

Yeah, I heard marks could shoot 5 times/animation with that spell on amun.

that sounds really terrible...

a ignis marks (fast short bow), with the speedrings, the speedamulet and the speedamor can shoot 7 times/animation i think...then they have also the highest def. after a knight...

and with two of that kind you also have 18-22 lightning dmg :)
