This is a shameless ad for another game which doesn't compete with Regnum (not a MMO).

This is a fun, open source game named Teeworlds and you can get it for Windows, Linux and Mac on www.teeworlds.com. It's all about little heads with guns called Tees that recklessly wage war, whether it be for glory and fame or simply the urge to draw blood.

TeeWorlds has been described either as a "real-time Worms" or a "2D FPS", and it's awesome. I know of other fellow ex or current Regnum players who had Tee alter-egos (at least Milk, and Froste whom I introduced to the game a short while ago).

We now have TeeTV (http://www.teetv.info), the official broadcasting channel by Tees, for Tees! TeeTV brings the latest news about the TeeWorlds and the wars, with real-time commenteeting!

Join now with your teemates and try to make a name for yourself!

This is a series of 2vs2 games I had against the Tee POLICE, a clan known for upholding their ideal of justice ... have fun watching. (Starts 4 minutes into the stream).

There is much more though! TeeWorlds is a game in the Electronic Sports League (ESL) and you can watch the finals and reopening finals at the same place, and in one month, the Master Tee Cup (http://www.masterteecup.com) will take place! Be sure to acquire some Tee fragging skills if you want to participate!

Nice game.
I know a similar game called "Smiley Wars", it has a bit better graphics, but sadly it is just single player. Anyway it's very funny, and you can customize your smiley, and unlock new levels.

As a matter of fact they have been whining about their defeat since, and we decided to replay the game on their server where they have 20 ms ping and we have around 100 (opposite conditions) and they got owned just the same :D.
