He's not an idiot. It's not like he believes in that. :) He just stated simply in his book that governments should get money for CO2 production. Everything is just all about money. It's not like they really think it's global warming. Now they called it Global Climat Change because it's getting colder in southern and eastern areas. But you know, it's a discussion for another time.
And yes, Torg. But retarded persons at least know they are special. :p

True. The question is if the change is a natural or a human-induced effect...

but climate change is real...
During medieval age there were citrus trees on Greenland (that's why it's called Greenland...). Yes, the "Climat Change" is normal, Earth still lives and everything is flexible. And they shouldn't charge us for this :p but the moron who think it's daylight saving thing fault is ridiculous and that's what I was talking about dammit :rale:

He did it in purpose.
PS: Yeah, climate change is real, unfortunately. :(

GETTING COLDER WHERE? It's just spring here and the heat is killing me! I miss the winter :(
It's really warm here too.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT YOU 2!!!!
Climate change is a NATURAL process, and the reports of it being worse were done by calculations that were approximately 98% incorrect.

GETTING COLDER WHERE?
wow, you already forgot how you watched snow from your window? Or snow in Baghdad? Or Asia getting cooler as well? Even here in Poland, the spring is awfully warm, but the summer is very moist and rainy.

Wow, there's a whole lot of stupid on this thread and not all of it is that link.
1) There was a "Medieval Warm Period"
2) It has taken a thousand years for it to cool down the 1°C since the Medieval Warm Period
3) It has taken 100 years to warm up by about 0.6°C to what it is now, starting at about the time that industrialization began.
4) It might have been named Greenland because it was incorrectly transcripted from "Groundland".
5) The southern bits of greenland are still green in the summertime.
6) "Global Warming" is called that because the average global temperature is increasing, not because it's getting warmer everywhere. Calling it "Climate Change" just indicates that some places will get colder.
7) The predictions made by those climatologists includes that some places would cool down, and some places would warm up. And that in general we should expect more extremes now.
You are not a climatologist. While I'm also not, at least I've bothered to read the report, and I think I would tend to prefer the research of climatologists over your declaration. The report is here: http://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/assessment-report/ar4/syr/ar4_syr.pdf.
Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic GHG concentrations. Where "very likely" is defined as more than 90%.
Page 39 of that PDF has a table describing the various causes, and their margin of error.

Tell me where Torg said that he doesn't think it's a natural process.

I do not know if it's natural or man made. I don't know if it's for general cold, or general warmth. But this is what I know:
1)Buenos Aires climate conditions don't allow snow to be formed. The day it snowed, it wasn't really THAT cold either.
2)Winters are less cold every year and summers are warmer.
3)Due to this heat waves, we don't get as much rain as we need, both for fields and cities. Also when it does rain, an given the high temperature, ice showers are getting more frecuent. They brake windows, roofs, cars, and destroy complete plantations.
I don't give a crap about the reason. But poluting like ther's no effect is no good. Even if it does not afect climate change...
Polution is not a theory, is not a mith, is not fantasy.
IT'S POISON, IT KILLS, AND IT'S REAL.

Well, if the sea level really is going to raise with one meter, we've got quite a problem here in the Netherlands.
Even though the dikes at the Northsea are at some places as high as 12 meters(high enough to have stoped the water at Galveston, Texas), it won't be enough with such a rise. The large amount of water in the rivers, which is increasing, is already causing a lot of trouble -- the last dike collapse was next to a river/canal -- getting more problems from the sea will be problematic.
Coincidently there was just an article in de Volkskrant about a part of the Northsea-coast of England being 'eaten' by the sea, just like what's happening to islands in Palin's beloved Alaska.
It's probably not completely our fault, but it's still not bad to stop the ridiculous wasting in the world. Thanks to fishing and waste-dumping, some plants and species died in the Waddenzee, north of my home, weakening it's protective abilities against flooding. That's not something I like.

But it's too hot in here. I want to move to the southern part of the country. A place like Villa La Angostura or San Martín de los Andes. :(
