Ok, this is a question that has been plaguing my mind for a few days now, and trust me Kinsa and some of the other's I play with are sick of hearing me complain about it. So, I figured I would try and get down to the bottom of this issue. Ok, so I am T H C as many of you know on the Horus server, and I am fairly new still to the knight class. I have figured a lot of things out, but what I am having a hard time figuring out is WHY I AM KNOCKED SO MUCH?

I don't normally give my stat's out to other realms, because I like to keep them to myself. I will say that I have 105 constitution, and I seem to be getting knocked all of the freakin time! I thought the formula was 1/4 of your total constitution or something. So if that were the case I guess naturally I would have 26% chance of not being knocked. I also have the passive block chance on level 5, and I have been told by a few players that leveling that doesn't make a difference. I also use precise block..

What seems to happen to me is this:
I will evade/block/resist a lot of trip's, feint's, ambushes. I am not complaining on the amount of things I block, and the amount of damage I resist. What is really eating at me is why does it seem that every ambush that is cast "successfully" seem to always knock me? I swear, and I look at my log's a lot, does it seem that I am being knocked so much? It honestly feels like I am being knocked more than my marksman, or hunter. So, basically if I don't block/evade/resist ambush; I am knocked down. I rarely see the message where it says ambush has been cast on you successfully, and I avoid the knock.

Sorry for all of the word's to say very little, but I was wondering if any other knight's are experiencing an unreal amount of knocks to them?

I think the second layer resists without spells such as Unstoppable are bugged. I haven't see anything that's not a mob resist my knockdowns passively and while the spell still hits for a looooooong time (since last August when I started playing, in fact).

Well, with my hunter I get a lot of "successful" ambushes on knights that don't get knocked by it, and more of them than on other classes, so I guess it has to be working in some way.

I definitely don’t think run over is bugged
even with unstoppable madness it not uncommon to get knocked down.
About the knock down resist from constitution, im not sure of the values either, but i like to rember a change log saying it was halved and (before 2/4) which means should be like you say 1/4.
But NGD have some strange formulas for calculating stuff, str contribution to damage is (str-20)*2 or 1,5 for medium weapons.
maybe knock down resist is (const-20)/4 or something. :cuac:

I am 99% sure the knockdown resistance chance from constitution is bugged.
Ok let's say it like this.
I have 100 constitution, and your Stun/Knock resistance % chance is calculated by dividing your constitution in 4 (atleast a very experienced player that I trust told me this), which would be 25% in my case.

That's a number big enough to make difference, atleast for a barb that has no passive knock resistance skill.
Lately, which would mean the latest 6 months or more, I have not seen any knock skill causing damage on me without knocking me (if I do not use Unstoppable Madness).

However, I have seen knights that were not using Defensive Stance getting damaged by my Trip without getting knocked.
By this, I assume that Run Over works as expected.

Well, I got knocked down about 6 more times in about 30 seconds yesterday. It's time for me to take a trip to the trainor. :metal:
