In the character stats window, there are two attributes: Attack and Hit Chance. Attack is a range of numbers and Hit Chance is a number.

1) What is exactly is Attack?

2) Does Hit Chance include all attacks: range, melee and spells?

1) Attack is the base damage which can be boosted by spells like TFB.

2) Hit Chance only effects the base attack of your weapon. Spells are effected by spell focus.

Is Spell Focus listed in any of the character stat windows, or can it be calculated? And does Spell Focus depend on Concentration like Hit Chance does?

And I assume the speed at which you cast spells still depends on the speed of the weapon you have equipped.

No spell focus is a well kept secret, but i think its almost the same as your hit chance not counting items, buffs and passive powers that dont effect both.

Spel focus and Hit chance both depend on - main attribute and concentration.

The speed of the weapon dont effect casting time but the invocation between spell.

Spell focus depends on Int afaik.

No, concentration gives spell focus, int gives the ability to resist powers

Yes, as was previously stated 3 posts above yours, but if you feel like being redundant go right ahead (:

Thanks for the info.

If a weapon has a "to hit" bonus, I assume that isn't applied to Spell Focus (only to the weapon hit chance).

I'd assume so, but I doubt anyone can state it as fact, and the hit chance seems to be very dubious in the first place

I think so too, which leads to a spell focus a bit lower to hit chance ... really useful to have lots of "spell".
