Death Sentence: what?

Then why on earth did I get DS then a 1k Meteor

I had the same here, a meteor of 980 damage with Death Sentence(4) and one of 1033 damage with Death Sentence(5)

DS affetcs all the skills casted from range > 4.

A barb attack like spiritual strike (dunno its correct english name) can be affected too if the barb casted it between range 4-8

I thought they changed that lately to let the spell only affect the caster. Or did they revert that change already?

In one changelog it said DS only effected the caster but I proved last night that it still effects the caster and allies in attacks at range.

If you want to know a little more, DS affects every ranged attack even if an enemy attacks the target. I realize about this fighting against Reds and Greens hunting parties :o

However, in a recent changelog it was stated that this would change... but perhaps this was removed then before it hit live server...
