1 german player got 10k magnatite and he has now the magnatite weapons...

That is alittle disapointing because i've benn running and trying to find these weapons, but now i will ust pick them up when i see them.

Quest you get from your trainer sends you to the weapons dealer to make the weapons.

i'm an archer so i can't fully judge seeing these weapons... but they don't look so awesome to me.... so... a bloody amount of work looking for rocks and then...this?

After looking at the mage staffs, i am somewhat dissapointed, i can get better from drops. (working out how much magnatite you will find a day v the amount of looting, looting is a lot faster). Also there aere better staffs than these that can be obtained from any merchant.

Most mages do not rely on staff mastery so it would have been nice to see a cast speed boni at least on one of the staffs.

That said, il still look for the magantite to test out these staffs for myself.

It will be interesting to see what the bows turn out to be like as well

And for me I can only say nice to have but the Ignean Blast Long Bow (level 50) is much better.
The short bow out of Magnatit ok ... there I haven't seen an other.

To magnanite staffs, really dont worth the same ammount of magnanite as the barb weapons which are much, much better !!! 4 > 2 !!!

Hmm - The bows don't suck but they aren't that great compared to the amount of work involved with them. Maybe if they were lvl 50 and a tad bit better but at the rate I'm finding magnantite it will be 2010 before I have enough anyways.

p.s.: i wouldnt do that quest now... its worth it... its good for some lvl 45ish ppl but for lvl 50 there are better weapons

The 2handed weapons are great, the damage is real good for being slow weapons. Slow 2h spears dont even exist on higher levels? so its quite valuable to a player that like it.

The fast range 20 staff is just to mock warlocks with the change on their area spells?

The bows look quite good too, but i cant really judge.
Maybe magical and epic once can beat em.

If you already have better weapons, well congratulations!

:D i think that even special can beat them. My fast short 25m bow has only 12dmg less. Beside they are ugly. Long bow is nice, that is truth.

But maybe as special bows hit harder that non-special ones, magnanites could rip your arm off just by drawing them.

The longbow actually is nice, but still not worth the trouble.

Any screen of the look would be nice.

121-139 medium range 25 magnanite SB
90-114(+20) Composite Dragon wings SB diff: 11-5 / 10%-4%

136-154 slow range 30 magnanite LB
88-115(+20) Composite Dragon wings LB diff: 28-19 / 26%-14%


I think the SB was a higher level weapon to begin with.
The best i could find was lvl 50 with no bonus damage, the lvl 50 LB had +8 or so.
I just compared abit for fun, not trying to make a point or anything. :tonguey:
