Hello together,
today I killed a mob of another player in my realm. I apologize for this, I didnīt see that he choosed the same Tol tar.
So, he was very angry and told me to read the ingame rules properly. If I kill mobs of other players, Iīll get banned, because itīs forbidden to do that. I was really shocked, I donīt want to be banned, it just was a mistake, and it was only one!
But, now I looked and searched here in the forums and didnīt find a posting with ingame rules. I really want to know all rules and play like the rules are, but how should I do that, when I even didnīt know that there is a catalogue of rules.
Second question:
Soon my character will be able to join warzone. I donīt understand that thing with invasion. When I go to enemy realm and will not be killed there, maybe I was able to hide very well or so, when invasion is over, will I be teleported automatically back to my realm or into wz? If yes, can I choose where Iīm teleported to?
If not, when I log off in that moment, is it right, that next time I log in, I still will be in enemy realm although invasion is over?
Is it breaking of any rule, that says, itīs forbidden to be there, when invasion is over? (Iīm a little bit afraid of beeing banned by not knowing the rules exactly) .Is there a way to go back to my inner realm except dying?
Sorry if these questions are somewhere here on the forums, I searched but didnīt find the answer.
Last question:
My son is thinking of playing regnum, too. Do we have to give this information to the supportteam? Because we will both have the same IP. Must he play in the same realm? Could be a funny game: Hit your parents in warzone :superpusso: .

You can not be banned for killing mobs. Logging into an enemy realm is a bug but I doubt you get banned for that either since it's happened for a while now, it'll get fixed eventually if not already. Just play the game and enjoy, the only ingame rules are of an ethical nature (don't harass, insult, slur, libel, you know).

Didn't you get a warning for lying about non-existing rules? It's really weird that a player gets angry about you -- accidentally! -- helping him to kill a monster and after that threatens you with a ban. Some people really have a bad temper.

There are rules, and those are the same as in this forum. There's no rule about mob killing, and it is encouragedto kill mobs with a friend. There's no thing as kill stealing in this game because of the loot and experience sharing system. You get a group bonus each time you kill a monster together with another player. You will be able to kill twice mobs than solo and get more experience.
Lying about rules is strictly forbidden, so he should be the one who gets banned.
Second question:

You won't be teleported unless you disconnect inside the enemy realm. You can roam inside until you get killed or disconnect. Keep in mind that you can kill yourself, but it gives you 5% necrostacy, so just log out and in again. :)

You don't have to inform them about that, but he can't log in in the forum. This is to prevent users from posting with "shadow accounts" to insult and do other low things.

not trying to sound like a wet blanket here, but, i do appreciate when players either ask me if id like to grind with them beforehand. its no big deal if they ask, but playing as both a knight and a barb, i have realized how much slower it can be to grind. my knight requires time to kill enemies, and with the introduction of the HORRIBLE resist and evasion boost that mobs get, and the fact i use a slow weapon means if a barb decides to run around following me and spamming the ripost button, i get crappy xp (sometimes 40+50 grp on a mob id get about 180+chg for) same with archers, ill be attacking a mob happily when some random archer decides to use a skill, im forced to chase after my own mob just to try to immobilize it. its a pain.
im really easy going, and i dont kill mobs others are grinding on, nor visit the popular aura spam spots everyone hangs out (i run by them and get hit with heroic presence, deflecting, shield wall, mana communion, off with their heads..and alot of lag :)
i cannot speak spanish well, and so often its hard to tell people not to do something that impacts my levelling, especially when the area is FILLED with the same mobs but they choose to follow me and leech off me. (some of the worst i seen is by barbs, they wait till im engaged, and then do a quick south cross/ripost and then run off, thats just pathetic imo)
i have met a few people though that seem to follow my patterns too, we ignore each others mobs, even if we are both going for it, either i or them will avoid it or take it, but neither both.
i met a nice barb recently who helped me grind over 100k in an hour on the beach, he understood my high mana cost and lower dmg potential, so i would take the first hit, and a skill, and he would do a normal hit and a trip, and it worked out pretty evenly, since we both wanted to be fair about getting roughly the same xp without the need to rest as often and plus more mobs killed in the same amount of time i would have alone. i dont mind groups at all, and yeah it can be a great time saver if done properly and not just leeching with auras, mages can be an exception if theyre support, but there is no reason for a knight/barb to leech ininvited because they are sufficient in dealing damage with minimal hp loss (precise block+caution or say thirst for blood etc)
most times i meet people who can understand my situation and yeah we can work together, but other times yes i do meet real jerks who constantly just attack whatever i am attacking, and its annoying to the point i have to leave because its not against the rules, but it can be bad manners.

Well, what else can I write first, but thank you all for your quick answers.
Thanks Puppypaws for your statement, I think itīs good for me to know that, as I only play mages (I just started with the game a few weeks ago again, after a short pause), I donīt know how the others classes are grinding. Be sure, normally I ask for party or try to avoid killing the same monsters. This was a mistake, maybe I havenīt seen it fast enough, it was a marksman, so we both are not very near the mobs.
For future I will try to have a better look to this situations. I just was surprised of the rules, wich I never seen here in the forums.
So, now I know the right answer and the next time I wont be shocked.
Thanks to Xephandor for the advice with that necrostacy thing, Iīm ashamed, I didnīt realise that feature before (Iīm not looking at the data of my character). Iīll keep it in mind.
As my son is 12 years old, I donīt think heīs interested in the forums. If he has questions, I can post them for him. So, we will create him an account and try if it is possible to play together with our low internet connection.
Again, thank you all for your answers, Iīm pacified now.

well they arent so much as rules..just etiquette which differ widely from person to person.
like say some person would be annoyed as heck you took his mob, yet say thanks over and over if you save him from being killed by the mob or maybe you happen apon someone being attacked by a enemy realm player in the war zone..i dont know anyone who would be un thankful for help, i never am :)
