I was just wondering, as it not far away from regnums 2nd aniverssary,

Will we be having some form of event to mark the occasion?

Speaking of May, doesn't Argentina also celebrate Cinco de Mayo? I'm not sure if the material would be applicable for an event, but it's a thought.

Veinticinco*. Cinco means five :P

I guess this date was chosen mainly because of that (it's a holiday and it's easy to remember). Also, a day off work means more people playing at GMT -3:00, so it's easier for them to organize an event.

Let's see what NGD is planning now.


*Numbers up to 29 are special... You don't write "veinte y cinco", and since it's so common we chose to shorten the words a bit and put them together. Numbers from 30 and up are "normal": we write "treinta y uno" for 31. Spanish is sooo weird. O.o

I ask surak a couple of months ago and he said they will do something but up to that day they did not have anything planned (or he wanted me to believe so).
I guess it would not be something big, but I am sure it will be celebrated. Maybe they do something like they did last year, but I think they will not say a word to give us a surprise :)

What Xeph means, is that in May 25th in Argentina we celebrate the May Revolution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_Revolution), the first local government not designated by the Spanish Crown in the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata (Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay).
They are both in May but the events have 52 years of difference and they are not related.

In Argentina 5 de Mayo is not celebrated of course, since we have nothing to do with Mexican History. Jeje, in fact we only share the language with Mexico, but Argentina is as far from Mexico as England is from the US.

no offense to either Argentina's or Mexico's history... but i am american, and I celebrate Cinco de Mayo, it is a celebration of someone getting thier Independance (cheers) and that is always a cause to celebrate... comeon, a day to get sh$t-faced on rum and tequila? whats NOT to celebrate :punk: god knows we all need a good drunk after looking at the world climate now-days ... so raise a toast .... cheers to CINCO de Mayo!! (tomorrow... we will be getting drunk in honor of Seises de Mayo, or miércoles, whichever.. come back and join us :clapping5365: )

I wish useless NPCs, altars, items from previous events to be removed. Also I wish useless quest items to be removed from inventory. =)
