Good morning ,
I am asking if the manuever of hitting the dragon while he is
behind the rock in southeast corner of his lair is a legal procedure.
I seen a large debate over whether this is a bannable offense or merely
good stratagy.
The realm really could use an official response .

Debate? It's a row. There are no proper arguments to put forth, so both sides just go with yelling at each other.

In any case they're exploiting an unintended positioning artefact, aka glitch. Whether it's a bannable offense or not, doing it is unfair to other players.

IMO, its complete shit that you can even get a dragon stuck to keep it from attacking you. Dragon fights are suppose to be epic!

Neither does Ignis, but the germans like to do it with 12 or so people while no one else is online.

this is a rather old issue with all the dragons, and if ngd thought it was illegal i'm sure they'd fix it already. and anyway, since all 3 realms can kill their dragons with no problem i don't get it why make such a fuss out of it.

That must be from before the Dragons were buffed up? I doubt that the damage from 5 people would be enough to out weigh the HP regen rate and acctualy cause damage, Unless maybe its 4 barbs buffed for Dmg and a conju also Buffing them for damage.

Glitching the dragon deserves a ban.

Intentionaly getting it stuck should hold some sort of punishment in my eyes, but ive seen it happen accidently a few times with vesper, but most of the time he teleports away about 40m after a few seconds.

tbh, glitching dragon isn't fun. it's just drop action. in other words tenax>alasthor
