Taming

looking at the skill description on wikia, it seems there's no point adding power points to taming skills ?
in fact the only thing that changes is the cost..... it costs more to tame something....

is there any benefit to putting additional power points into a taming skill for hunters ?

if so, could someone tell me what it is ?

lvl1 tame can only tame creatures of level 1 to 11
lvl2: creatures from 12 to 21
lvl3: creatures from 22 to 31
lvl4: creatures from 32 to 41
lvl5: creatures from 42 to 51
