Interesting article about crafting in MMOs

Since I don't really get why everyone is so excited about crafting because to me it looks like another form of grinding for items, I googled a bit and found a very interesting article on how crafting can/should be for MMOs, some major common disadvantages of it found through most MMOs, and suggestions to make it more fun etc etc.
