So, I recently started playing Regnum, and it's massive fun! I just have a few questions to ask. (btw: I'm Alsius! =)

1) When can I chose to become a Hunter/Marksman?
2) What are the unique aspects of a Hunter or Marksman?
3) What is "training"?

edit: oh, and why is a Hunter called a Hunter if it tames animals rather than killing them, Wouldn't that make them Rangers? I think I might tell them to change it. Hunter makes no sense at all! :p

1) level 10 afaik
2) See archer/hunter/marksman descriptions at http://regnum.wikia.com/wiki/Archer
3) you get power points while levelling, then you can use them to get special powers (see wiki). This is done during training with your class trainer.

We refer to training mostly as spending skill and mastery points earned every level, since you require a class trainer to do so.

On the second question, this are a couple of threads about marksmen and hunters:

There are more, way more, but they predate some pretty big changes to those classes like the change in strategic position, son of the wind, the implementation of hawks gaze and the pet control interface. This ones will cover the basics. You can always just search the forum more, or ask specific questions right here.

Also, sometimes the word training is used as synonym for grinding or leveling, killing creatures for xp.

You will know why hunter is called so when he ambushes you. LOL
