Being as it is, strafing and mouse look is unusable in current state, because if you want to have turn left or right on mouse you are probably not going to cast any spells soon because it's physically impossible. So here is my suggestion on how to fix that. Seeing as we have strafing, turn left and turn right aren't needed at all so remove those. Make it that we go into mouse look by clicking MOUSE1 or MOUSE2 so we don't have to break our fingers by keeping MOUSE1+MOUSE2 pressed constantly and to go out of mouse look make it so we have to click MOUSE3. I think that in this way we will get much more functional and smoother movement and in my opinion it will be more advanced then in wow or wow-clones but similar enough for your new users with previous mmo experience. This only leaves us with the key bindings. Solution is to make everything bindable. It would be also nice if we could bind some generic messages. To see the example of my key binds, check out the layout I modified below. Note that this IS NOT a display of how key binds must be, it's just how I would like to bind them. Hope you like this and replace the current system with this.

Yes this seems like a sound option. Actually, all NGD has to do is to make every key bindable. An option menu for that should be available at the Launcher.

The skill tabs are F1 F2 F3 F4 why to move them to 1, 2, 3, 4? i use these keys already....

Yes a revision of the input system so everything is custom bindable would be nice :)

I would like to be able to bind to extra mouse buttons too (Then we wouldn't need the keyboard to move at all).

Don't forget target selection binds!

A fully customizable keymap should come before or with the new movement system. The new movement system is such a big change to gameplay, and the inability to customize the keymap might ruin the game for a lot of players.

Please NGD do this, it's really hard to cast spells that are far from the "wasd" keys while moving.
