Any idea of when server transfers will become available? I want to bring my alt chars over before I attempt grinding new ones.

I believe a day or 2 ago on horus alsius realm chat, chilko mentioned that they would start working on transfers this week. But I think they're still mainly working on the new engine.

I can't wait to transfer my marksman and warlock to Horus. The last few times I've tried playing on Ra, I've been sorely disappointed with the lack of teamwork in Alsius, and almost complete lack of support conjurers.

My only character on Horus is my support conjurer, which is fun when we've got a big group, but useless when we're empty. It will be nice to bring my more offensively equipped characters to Horus for some hunting fun.

I wont lie, i will miss RA, but its been a long time since ive been there.....Took a break before horus opened up and when i came back there was an english server. Most of the people that i played with when i first started are no longer there, i dont know anyone there anymore, so it makes little sense for me not to transfer. I think that a lot of people feel the same way.

For the most part you will find people moveing chars have already made the move to horus, are coming back after a long time, or are noticing the declining numbers of English speakers on Ra and want a way out,

People staying mostly will have been here for years, know enough spanish to hold a reasonable convosation with one of the Holas, or are part of a still strong english clan.

I dont think many people will be effectivly ditching their freinds, and if they do its most likely because they have so few and would like them to move with them.

And if there are people willing to 'ditch' several freinds to move, then maybe they arnt the freind you thaught they were. But still move on, its a mmorpg, and its a shame so many freindships are built on something so tempary.

Please, dont try make this into a bad thing, untill NGD tells you that you HAVE to move (cant see them doing) there should be no harsh fealings about this.

Most of the people I grew in the game with have either quit the game, or already made characters on Horus. At least a couple that quit will consider returning once Ra-to-Horus migration is available. My friend list on Ra has shown almost all red for many months. Since I have more friends that have already moved to Horus than are still on Ra, it would be more a case of "turning my back on friends" if I stayed on Ra.

The only people I know bringing chars over are people who already mainly play on Horus, I even have a freind who rarely plays who will start playing full time once transfers happen and he can bring his hunter over.

It wont tear the Ra English community apart, and if someone you do know on Ra moves leaving a load of mates behind then sqrew him, he clearly didnt care much about you anyway.

Landriel stays on Ra, I do play him and my other chars there occasionally. I have my Horus toons and am happy to keep the 2 seperate, I kinda agree with Inkster but I don't play this game often enough now to worry about transfers. Good luck to those who do the swap.

it's a game and the point of the game is to have fun if ur not having fun or w/e and wanting a change theres 2 options

I'm getting a bit tired of Ra players being treated as conservative old-timers who won't accept the dawn of a new age. Many of the people we like to play with are Spanish and can't move to Horus (La Frague! :metal:)

Most the the English Community on Ra is already gone, and the few that are still there mainly speak at least some basic spanish. Many people are interested in this, many people who left Ra long ago would like to bring chars over, many people who would rather be in a mainly English community and have few/no holas freinds would like to move. As I said even a old freind of mine will come back to playing full time once transfers hit. Just because Transfers will slightly shrink the English community on Ra is no reason not to do it, unless you think it will acctualy kill the English community there, In which case either be happy with the Holas freinds you have or take the line NGD is giving you and move to Horus.

I doubt NGD will do them, at most they would do them personally upon request. I don't get the idea of them copying a bunch of characters that only a few people would move over.

They said it will be 'free for one' (char I guess) so Id bet on it being some sort of premium Item and them auto adding one to everyones Inv (that would be the free one)

I wouldent be suprised if there were another as soon as they can afford it, if Ra starts hitting 1.5k often then they will certainly need another, many new players will be lost and old will be annoyed if they cant even log on :o

Just imagine the action, after all the action on Ra with 1,500 users has been simply amazing the past few weeks. Save camping and 5 man group charges into fully upgraded forts :metal: Most people are AFK or selling/buying stuff at the wall since the game became item based more then ever. (At least my timezone)

Maybe NGD can surprise me even more with another new item addition... "MINI GEMS! They fit inside your current gems! All mobs now drop mini gems with *high* drop rates and can also be bought via premium!"

For many on Ra fort war is to large and laggy to deal with, Im sure given the transfer option to kickstart the server some would be happy to move to a less laggy enviroment, besides, cant be worse than ending up trying for an hour to log in on a "one in one out" situation as the server starts to adverage the Cap.

One question I have, is what happens if you want to transfer your Ra characters to Horus, but it puts you over the maximum number of characters per account/per server?

Also, I was previously in Syrtis on Ra, if I want to transfer my characters to Horus, would that put me in violation of the EULA and subject to ban?

Well I understand the realm difference issue.

But look this suggestion, if a character is for example a Dark Elf warrior, (Ra) Wanting to switch to Alsius (Horus) I think you should add the option to reselect race to one that matches the class. So the Dark elf could become an Ugthar, Dwarf, or in the case of Syrtis Half Elf.

I think that would be a good system.

I am a german player and i have a Gamigo account. I can play on RA with this account, but i can´t play on Horus with this account (no access in the RO launcher).
Can i transfer my RA char to Horus?
Or can NGD open Horus for Gamigo account users?

Not to start an argument with you... But sorry bro, I must disagree. It makes no matter if we like it or not: The english population on RA may not be dead. but Its certainly on Life Support :(

Elusis is a nearly 2 year old character and upon loging in during prime time hours and under a full scale Ignis invasion, I found that out the 100's of names in my friends list of english speaking players (even if not native) and their alt's... not even 1 was onine.

I dont believe this to be a true measure of the active english players but I think it does serve to paint a clear picture. I took my stand with alot of you saying that I would never leave RA... and in my eyes slowly but surely we english of RA are being left to our stand.... alone lol

All that being said.. I still stand on RA.

IF they change the transfer system to include Realm switch I will move a couple of my characters... Maybe Artemisia or/and Nellas... Elusis will stay put XD

Same, I had near every mainly-english speaker in Syrtis on my list, nowadays when I log on its are to see more than one or 2 when It used to be lit up with 40+ greens,

I will say again, if you think this option will 'destroy' whats left of the English player base on Ra then clearly many of the English on Ra dont care about the spanish players there, or about any English they will leave behind. Besides, its a game, relationships in real life dont last forever, ones in games are lucky to last a year most of the time.

The English community on Ra shrank by about 80/90% when horus was launched (dont moan about this its been done theres no going back now) and since then many of the hangers on in Ra have left because they have had their fill of regnum or feel it was 'ruined' in some way,

I dont doubt there are still a few good english clans around, and they can stay on Ra, or move to Horus, or whatever, NGD isnt forcing them to do either.

OUT of question for me to move on horus, all my freinds are on RA and i learn spanish for free (just have an open mind) in our clan FWS we have a lot of spanishs now, and we like them all
