While I like to see a cleaner and less confusing splash page, the pose of the female model is just terrible. It looks like she is trying to proposition the warrior on the right, complete with seductive stare.

Personally I dont care about how the chars look. NGD has done this to give a good first impression for new players. Players who take a curious look at the web page will now be tempted to log in. Especially the video, will make the newbs wanna work through fort wars and get the higher level powers and take part in invasions. But my only concern is good gamers when the play, they expect dual weilding and find that its not there and get pissed. Combined with the grindfest they get fed up and leave calling NGDs scam. So maybe they could just use the pictures that are ingame right now, not some future bs thats gonna be there. But to summarize, a nice first page which could do wonders for first impressions and making the new players hit 30 to take part in war. I bet this change will make a real impact.

Those models as seen in the front-page ARE NOT the ones that will replace the current characters. As for the ones that will go in, we will have to wait to see anything since it's a lot of work and we are in the middle of it (And when I say middle Im not saying that we are halfway there but that we are working on them).

Please, stay on topic about the front-page on this thread. You are welcome to open a new thread about the characters if you wish, but I'd recommend to do so when we give you something more concrete.

I say good work NGD! You guys are really improving on the game, especially the team that works with all the graphics. The website is looking more and more attractive as time goes on. =] Although I do admit the male character does seem a little off.

As to all those that say that the mage is skimpy and so on. Try playing Shaiya and Warhammer Online. I've played both, Shaiya f2p and you actually see female parts and what some of the characters wear and what is advertised in loading screens is near pornographic. Warhammer online p2p, I noticed on dark elf, you start off wearing your bra, and a skirt that is removable, nothing else.

NGD is ALOT more family friendly than many other MMO's out there. Keep up the good work! :thumb:

I think its gonna lead to a lot of angry players with some leaving.
And if i had children i wouldnt be encouraged to let them play let alone PAY for a game which had that as its promotional picture.
