Hey, I just wanted to post a few screens for those who still have problems connecting to Amun.
I find it just a bit too light during daytime (especially around the horizon). But that might be my own fault playing too much with the settings. Apart from that, it looks so nice!
EDIT: However, performance-wise it's still kind of sluggish (10 FPS), but according to NGD that won't be a problem as soon as they are ready with compability and can start working on the optimizations.

Did you gave acid to your computer ?
PS: Nice screenshot Ulmanyar, I really have to try on my Desktop Linux, because on the latop I'm getting so low fps that it's unplayable (4-8fps while standing still) .

Looks really nice! Some of them look almost like they've been edited. The one in the snow is almost a postcard, Syrtis looks better as well; the trees in the distance look like they were drawn by hand.
Great work NGD.

I guess we dont need to worry about reveiwers knocking off points for dated graph anymore :)

I like it very much. The brightness isn't too strange for a normal not too cloudy day.

It's amazing what a bit of bloom will do to fog peoples' perception.
I do like that the water shader actually works on non-nVidia cards now though :)

Ofc the gameplay itself matters more, but given a choice of current graph and the new graph (and better performance, supposedly) with the gameplay the same on both, I know what Id pick.

A few more... :)
It's amazing what a bit of bloom will do to fog peoples' perception.Sure, it helps give a better overall impression but we've also got the new shadows, new lightning depending on time of the day, increased view distance, improved shaders, etc.
