I read a warning somewhere that this is a highly addictive game..

Im a new user and i cant wait to get my first taste.

Its not really addictive. Unless you meet some really nice people.
Just like Anpu said, it's not the game, it's the people in it.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome.

My excited however was cut short by a glitch. I cant seem to run my regnum client. After logging in and competes verifying, the regnum client splashes off then nothing :(

Im using Ubuntu karmic. Appreciate if somebody can help me solve this.

running 'sudo lspci |more' gave me..

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Int
egrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)

am not sure if this is what you want to know
