alot of people will go on for hours and hours trying to get the answer out of NGDs mouths, what i like to know is how close NGD is into finishing it, i like a estamated guess on when it will be compleated, dont give me random stuff like it will be done tomarrow and junk like that, thats telling a huge lie. so feel free to take ur whole time into answering this very good post.:)

Every program have it's testing cycle. It usually takes alot, because this is the time all gets tested, fixed, performance adjusted. If there are regressions found they are fixed too, if better solution is found for some stuff it's recoded again. So usually this takes alot of time.

NGD we better get this after 1 year or more but to get clean, fast and stable game. Do not rush it - do like Blizzard do they release when it's ready despite of release dates.

Old version is stable and we will play it till all is done and ready. Take time to test it, polish it and release when it's done.

Also there are still a few people out there (like me :p) who will likely need a new system for the new engine because the current one is too old if the level of supported graphics cards stays that high (or even almost as high as e.g. mine is pretty old).

As a rule of thumb, when there are fewer answers it usually means we are focused harder than usual on the work at hand and less on the forums (Except for regular moderation).

This case is no exception, you will hear news from us regarding the new technology (which by the way, there are already several posts on the "Current version" section) and/or character transfers when we have something more concrete to give you.

We've been accussed several times already of using Valve's time (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time) so having learned our lesson (or at least, trying to), we will disclose the when after we are absolutely sure it's going to go live.

Well the problem with NGD, is that they must also do as their parteners (or whatever contract they have) wants. Blizzards can live a bit on what they are already doing, I'm not sure NGD can. That's why we often get half tested update, this is a bit sad. I'd really like NGD to earn money easily so they can concentrate on quality.
