This happens the whole day.
Since the last update I've been seeing this. Sometimes it's handy. I was low on hp and was being followed bij a Savage Thrall or something, then a Large Stone Golem stood up and killed it :p

But I agree, its stupid.

its because mob aggression is turned up waaaay too high in this game. they are now to the point of attacking eachother,and attacking players who happen to wander too closely. imo, mobs should be there for nothing more than for us to kill and get xp and gold, and drops.

I have found that mobs are waaaaaay less aggro than in the past. It used to be that it was kind of a death sentance running through the mountain passages behind Alga. I remember being chased by like 10 warewolves through there. And there was an area between Mt. Goblin and Korsum that you would simply run into and be attacked by a cloud of mobs. And the emerald hills was filled with aggro mobs.

There was even aggro mobs on initiation island.

All of them were touchy. Ichy trigger fingers all of them.

As for mobs attacking each other. It was a regular but infrequent occurance. It seems to have become more prevelant in the last few months.

Must be all the sexual tension between the mobs.

I for one have certainly seen Trolls eyeing up those Weasels.

I think this is quite nice :D
Its kinda realistic. Monsters getting pissed at eachother and argue. Then they kill eachother :D
I think its really cool.
Btw I saw a Leader Cobra attack Graj the other day. Epic fight!!!

I remember the time where we were chased by chains of cyclops and golems for half of the map. Today is like heaven.

Cyclops got tired of running after us for raping reasons.

First they help. They get friendly. You go to one of their caves for supper...

No need to run after us then O.o

It's very handy when fighting some boss mobs. I used that to kill earth pedant recently.

Ive seen a golum and a aquatints fighting on beach behind herb -the fish was yellow /golum dark red- stood and watched the fight for a few--was funny as hell

I was resting in wz, when this werewolf suddenly aggros me, then a golem comes up and beats the crap out of him and when I was about to thank the nice thing...it turns around and finished what that werewolf started :p

Yeah this happens much more often these days. The best I've seen was a leader Giant Troll helping us to kill Thorkul. The brave troll even fougth Thorkul all on his own, when we were interupted by goats. Unfortunately we couldn't heal our trusty companion so it eventually died...just like we did. (That damn save is too close :lightsabre:)

Is this a feature I didn't know about? D:

it's the second time today I saw a savage cyclops attacking a mob! This time it was a much stronger large stone golem, the golem was chasing me so i ran away, the golem went back to his place and the cyclops attacked him. After a fight cyclops died, golem had 30% life, so I killed it and... got group experience bonus oO

and believe me - the cyclops was wild, didn't belong to anyone.

Yea, this happens every now and then. its kinda funny when you get two relativly same lvl mobs attacking each other so its like a fight to the death then you kill the winner for group xp.

I have also seen on occasion a mob attacking an NPC (ex. and rabid hyena killing the nul-tar)

Since version 1.6 (or possible befor) you can saw that.

NGD tryed to creat a natural realistique environement with mob

I've seen it a lot, I don't know it's a feature or a bug but please let it stay, it's awesome watching two mobs beat the shit out of each other totally random, makes the world "alive"

would be cool if you could use this as an advantage in levelling if some mobraces were warring on the border of two zones.

lol, it happened again!
when I was required to kill some mobs for a quest, I just hit one, got out of its range and saw it attack its own kind :p

needless to say, I finished that quest rather quickly xD

definetly let this feature stay. I run around a place with a lot of mobs, and see how many i can make kill eachother, and i kill the winners for some quick xp.:metal:

It is also possible to attack a monster (leaders to! I can't get it to work with ranged mobs, eg ghosts/pendant holders) with the monster just standing there doing nothing... ;p

Yes, I saw this in the Alsius initiation zone near Skolheim village. Old snow Skeletons attacking each other, and a *huge* fight broke out in one of the infiltrator goblor camps, as two started fighting, then more jumped in to help. I just stood there watching in sheer amazement as the entire camp was slaughtered, then I went in and killed the sole survivor.
